How did you guys score it? The first time I scored it 116-112 for Sturm. I just saw it again and scored it 117-111 Sturm but gave Sturm a close round that could have gone to either fighter.

i didnt score it, but I thought it could have went either way. Sturm outlanded DLH, but not as much as DLH outlanded sugar substitute shane in their second fight. It seemed, to me at least, that the rounds oscar won, he won well, the close ones went to him because of his combinations. I would have been satisfied with either decision. there have been worse decisions, like, oh i dont know.....DLH/Trindad. :D

sturm owned his ass...but either way sturm will get his shot at nard..and try to prove himself..and even if he loses this kid has a lot of time to grow up and become good and work on his power and improve his boxing ability which are already is very high

but the sturm DLH fight, sturm won 116-112 or 115-113 in my books. i think the only reason they gave it to him is because they were setting up the major PPV

De La Hoya was effective...just watch the fight one more time...and look for De La Hoya's strong points..they're not hard to find.

sturm is a one jab wonder. he has good defence and a great jab but thats not gonna take him far in the boxing game.

Funny that this Jack dude gave DLH the same score I gave to Sturm. DLH did nothing to win, not even a draw.

Im not a nut licker, and I would have been satisfied if Oscar or Sturm got the decision, it was a close fight in my eyes. It certainly wasnt one sided like DLH/Mosely II, and look who got the decision.

I scored it 117-111 for Sturm. Even Oscar would not come right out and say he won during the interview with Merchant. That say's alot, considering it's Oscar. Even if I had given him a round or two more, he clearly lost that fight ;)

Both the Sturm fight and the Mosley rematch were close fights that I feel went to the wrong man. I had Sturm winning 116-112 with a few close rounds that could of swung Oscar's way but I felt even though Oscar threw combinations almost all of them didn't land. Sturm threw more than jabs in the fight and even if you feel his punches were mostly jabs they were still the cleaner harder shots throughout the fight. I had Oscar winning against Mosley 115-113.

Oscar did look like he got away with one, i thought it was a closer fight, but it's boxing, expect the unexpected, especially when there is a megafight depending on the outcome of the bout we are discussing.
