It seems like Manny Pacquiao or Pacquiao’s management are scared to fight Gairy St. Clair the Black Superman. St. Clair’s trainer and manager Craig Christian knocked back a W.B.O World title shot against Scotty Harrison because he had given his word to the Pacman’s people and are now looking at missing out on the Pacquiao fight because they are not confident in Manny’s ability to handle the talent of St. Clair.

I seriously doubt that pacman is scared, I really think that fighting St. Clair is a Promotion issue like most fights. Well um, Manny already faced JMM once. It's kinda a BIG difference after having faced someone than not facing them yet. Muchless when things aren't even signed yet and no opponent has been solidly chosen. JMM can be scared of Manny. He's faced him once, he knows what goes on in the ring with him. Manny can't be scared of St. Clair, he hasn't faced him and HE hasn't watched the tapes on St. Clair, only his management. His management believes St. Clair will be running all night and not provide enough excitement for the crowd. Manny hasn't had a word in it yet...I think in the end, we'll be seeing Manny fight next vs JMM and thats it.

About this fight with a Thai boxer, it's not yet final although murad is telling the press that a scheduled dec. 11 non-title fight is in the works. So before that, it's just ok to wait until they come up with a final schedule.

About pacquiao fearing st. clair, i don't really know and i don't want to speculate. It might be that the fight didn't push through because of lack of communication, could be because they're just communicating through telephones! Maybe st. clair's camp don't want it to be held in manila because they fear this could be a hometown decision and the other camp want it as ease! No. 3 theory maybe st. clair is asking for a bigger purse? But we couldn't know really what are the reasons behind because even murad or nazario or pacquiao wouldn't say that pacquiao is afraid of st. clair (who's fighter would be foolish to say that). Yodsanan Nanthachai is a natural 130-lb. superfeatherweight and is built like a welterweight. Naturally bigger than Pacquiao who started as a 108-lb flyweight.
