I think only because there is a bit of a talent problem in modern hip hop. Rappers like Big Daddy Kane , Run DMC, Krs One, Rakim, Public Enemy and others have made quality music for years without excessive violence. The problem is that much of hip hop has forgotten how to do it. Ofcourse the actual focus here is Stopping The violence in communities though.

Yeah it's a nice little campaign. It's just that I like a lot of violent content. Although there are other rappers with little to no vilonece in their raps that I enjoy. Kweli for sure.
