Damn right. Kalou hits the post but looked like he resigned formt taking the shot to be fair leaving an open net to I think Drogba was standing. And he insisted on booking about 5 spurs players wasting half of e.t then he goes and stops it like that. Mr. Halsey you will never referre another major final. But the commenatators said he had a fine game wtf?

Not only is this a victory for Spurs but a victory for football in general.

Congratulations to Spurs, but ref was ****. You cannot blow the whistle in a situation like that. What a joke.

Thats bull****. If he didnt blow when he did there's a good chance Kalou would have scored.

For the ref to blow when a team has such a massive chance like that is a disgrace. In any game, never mind a ****ing cup final.

I had £10 on Berbatov scoring and 15 on spurs winning in 90minutes, so it was a bit too late for me

Yes. I'm saying maybe the whistle put him off.

The referee is entitled to blow the whistle at any time he blew it even before the ball was in the box, he had a very good game.

You wouldn't be saying that if your team had just lost.

I'll live.

I win far more than I lose anyway. Cheers Though

The shot was on or after the whistle he blew when he was one on one. He just kinda tapped it as well normally a player would drill it in the corner not outside of foot.

Its still well within the rules of the game.

but you could also say that the whistle stopped the tottenham players from defending.... kinda works both ways

I remember an FA Cup game a few years ago when the referee blew for full time as the ball came into the box from a corner kick. As the ref blew the whistle somebody headed the ball into the net but it did not stand and there were a few unhappy campers that day.

I'm just ecstatic we got the result, I think Chelsea were below par and Joe Cole should have started the game. Their substitutions were odd but Ramos simply outthought Avram, all our changes were hugely effective and it showed with the result.

I'm happy for you lads. I hope Chelsea finish the season with nothing. :D

Get in there, the ref had a good game and as Duran is God said it works both ways. Chelsea were not below par IMO we just outplayed them on the day and stopped them from playing. King,Woody and Hutton were all **** hot and if they stay fit and Bale comes back we have a fantastic back 4 and all ****ing brits as well.

I'm the first to slag off spurs if I thought they were lucky but for the most part we dominated them. The only thing we did wrong was taking Keane off and bringing Kaboul on and that invited pressure onto us, but still they couldn't play through us and just kept hitting long ball after long ball.

Back in europe next season now so we don't have to worry about the league this season and can concentrate on winning the uefa cup.

If everyone stays and is fit and we play like that all season we have a great chance of breaking into the top4.

Brilliant Result!!.. The Lads deserved it, and they bet a full strength chelsea team after going a goal down! and also we are the only team to beat chelsea in a final wen Drogba scores first!! COYS!

The squad Spurs have at their disposal, they should be aiming for the title never mind the top 4! and i ain't bull****ting either!

They'll win the UEFA cup this season as well.

Got huge respect for Spurs for investing in quality British players which other teams in the Premiership doesn't do enough of IMO.

Don't get too exited now, Spurs are still poor and have nothing on Newcastle. ;)

a lot of credit for that has to go to martin jol. He invested in youth and looked to change the tottenham way of playing. I think he gets far too much flack, Jol did really well with spurs

congratulations to tottenham they definitely deserved the victory. Once again chelsea were moaning cunts with john terry again showing why he shouldn't be england captain.... he constantly questions refereeing decisions and sets a poor example imo
