Personally no, i don't think the WBA would let him in the first place and secondly i don't think Jones would go for it anyway.

If Jones has no other fight. Its a great option for him.

If he is world champion. He will definetely get a shot at Calzaghe next.

But i think Danny can win this fight. RJJ has the worst chin at the moment. Danny by KO/TKO. Danny to strong for a fragile chin.

it's pretty obvious from the tito fight that jones isnt interested in the belts at this stage of his career. but who knows

Roy let Tito hit him on the ropes a few times. If he lets Green do that hes going to get knocked out though.

Roys chin is not good. And Green has to land something over 12 rounds. Which i think he will.

Im not to sure you guys realise how **** RJJ is at the moment. If you think his wins over Hanshaw and Tito mean his back. Its a dream.

Danny needs to land one shot. RJJ will stand there just defending. He will get KTFO.

But its Tito? The guy is like a welterweight and he had been retired for years. If you think Roy is back from beating him and Hanshaw than you might be in for a shock.

Danny Green would have destroyed Tito if they were to fight now. Absolutely destory. Early knock out i feel.

I know Danny isn't a technical boxer. He is more old school and relies on pressure.

But RJJ is yet to proove to me his jaw is okay. And his 2 minute rounds will not go well. Even though RJJ may have good defense, he seems to just keep his gloves up when getting hit not exchanging back. This would be a problem against a power puncher like Danny.

I can respect your opinion... and you have every right to feel the way you do... and you have valid points of believing the way you do... but I do disagree... just because he did beat hanshaw and tito... doesnt mean thats ONLY who he can beat... Roy needed those fights.. he needed some wins.. he needed some rounds to get in.. and Ill truthfully say... Each fighter from, badi ajamu to hanshaw to tito... were beter than the last.. and roys performance got better with each better opponent... I do think hes got one more championship fight left in him... I feel if he gets that shot with calzaghe... he will be motivated beyond... Thats just how I feel..
