Well he fights has beens and non-welterwieghts, if you ask him, he would say that none of the fighters that hold belts in the WW division deserve to fight him, so I guess thats why he chose to rematch the guy that hasnt beat anyone of any significance in over 4 years.

Floyd fights once a year, he's not a real fighter, he just likes the money. So when he does fight, it needs to be against a BIG name, not just a champion, which is why he's fighting Oscar again. Low risk, high reward.

Because the WBC is the most prestigious and he he'd rather not pay the sanction fees for the other tired ass belts.

His opposition is still better than Cotto's.
And like it or not, Floyd has faced more champions than any other active figher sans DLH.
His resume is HOF worthy.

No doubt Floyd is HOF worthy even based on his last 3 years' fights.
But his potential (and conceivable) GOAT bid was permanently derailed by them.
