Seriously I have taped and rewatched that card last night 3 times already cause the knockouts were so damn brutal. I am slowly being drawn away its being difficulkt for me and many Boxing fans now...what happens when a good ufc card goes head to head with a big boxing main event with a sorry undercard?

I might choose the mma fight on March 15 over the pac vs marquez fight...I just dont see pacman vs marquez living up to the hype, most rematches are like that look at pac vs barrera 2, and pavlik vs taylor 2 it was way to technical for me.

Even if Kimbo turns out to be all hype, putting him in the main event and drawing attention to the card is gaining new Elite XC - and MMA - fans. That was the best MMA card I've seen (I've only been watching a year and not buying a lot of UFC ) - if the criteria is simply KO's.... and I think that the appreciation for the ground game comes with just watching more hours of the product...but some of my friends who watched Sat. night are already raving about it and Showtime has 2 more shows on its network in March.

Meanwhile, the boxing card was on PPV.

Anyway, I don't understand how so-called boxing fans on this site are threatened whenever anyone brings up another fighting sport - or fighting sports entertainment for that matter. People jump on any type of praise for MMA with "it's a lesser sport or it's a gay sport" and any pro wrestling thread gets "did you know that's fake?". It makes the collective group of boxing fans (which I'm a part of) look closed-minded and foolish...
