...my thread flopped too. And I even beat the dude, timewise, who started the "Kimbo wins" thread.

Should have used the word "Kimbo"

Everyone loves the Kimbo

Damn.

Tank did what he was supposed to do. Go in there and lay down and make the hype machine Kimblo Slice look good. Either that or he was just a 43 year old with a losing record that had lost like 7 of his last 9 fights, a tomato can with a name.

You guys are right Tank did what he was probably paid to do. That is come in throw a few punches, but basically be a punching bag for Slice of Watermelon. EliteXC is definitely hyping him up and making him out to be this worldbeater, we'll see once he fights somebody that actually is a well rounded MMA figther.

I think Tank tried, but Kimbo was clearly much stronger and sharper. Its too early to tell, but I don't feel too confident in Kimbo's chances against someone with a pulse. I wouldn't be surprized of Ken Shamrock heel hooks him, though if not I think old man Kenny takes a beating (they mentioned this matchup as a possibility).

Even though Ken is another older fighter at least he would be somebody that would test Kimbo. We'll have to wait and see if EliteXC want's there hype machine to take on a MMA veteran like that.

There's no doubt Ken would be a significant step up from the trio that Kimbo has faced so far, but his best days are still long behind him.
