View Full Version : Can you all help me with answers on these questions...
Purity 05-27-2003, 02:16 PM the following are questions that have always bugged me but i can NEVER get a straight answer to:
-why is traffic slow? i mean i know that it's a lot more cars on the freeway but what physically makes it so that people all just go really slow? is it that everyone can only travel at a certain speed when their bumpers are a certain distance from eachother?
-why is juice from concentrate made? i STILL can't get a solid answer on this one!!!
-why do most intellectual threads on this board sink to the bottom while topics involving homosexuality thrive?
-can anyone explain in a simplistic manner how a tv works? this and radios are just ****ing amazing to me. who the hell ever sat back and conjured up the idea to create invisible waves that make video images appear on a piece of glass? where would one even BEGIN a project like that???
-in all seriousness, what does one gain from postwhoring?
ruffneck119 05-27-2003, 02:20 PM 1) Changing lanes causes traffic.
2) It's cheaper
3) They are easy to respond to.
4) Too long of an answer
5) FUN!!!

Aaron Bizarre 05-27-2003, 03:00 PM some good answers, my Wisdom is not needed.
Tammy 05-27-2003, 03:58 PM The answer to the first question:
The traffic becomes slower when there are more cars on the road because each car can only go at a certain speed. Every car thereafter will be slightly slower in order to leave some room between the cars. Not to mention that not everyone drive at the same speed. There are also people incredibly slow as well. And of course, there's the traffic light and changing lanes that also contribute.

1. Im to busy **** jerking while searching for a gay techno station. Precaution, precaution.
2.Cheaper production and better lube for ass ramming sessions.
3.Intellect+Global= ROFLMAO~11!!!!
4.The TV runs off of God's brainwaves and radios are really alien dildos. Their most trivial inventions are gold to us silly Earth folk.
5.PostWhoring=Mad ratings
Tammy 05-27-2003, 04:14 PM As for the third question:
People generally don't like to think more than they should, unless there's an obvious or an instant gratification that follows. Supposedly the area of the brain that is used to produce ideas and abstract thinking is also the same area that feels and understands pain. That could be another reason why people prefer not to use that part of the brain too much.
