my whole house just started vibrating violently, i run downstairs and there is **** loads of **** knows what coming out of a pipe, my instinct was ... **** .. GAS .. RUN!! grabbed my mum out the house we stood half way down the street .. and guess what .. it was water

if you though it was gas why didn't you turn it of at the mains, and gas stinks like ****, water damage is a bastard, ****s everything up, even if you turn the stop**** off it can take a ****ing age for the system to run empty.

well steam was coming off the water, so i saw that and just thought it was gaz, plus the whole house vibrating shook me up, its quite funny now though :lol1:

pressure was too high and one of the pipes was faulty so something just span off and it was like a fire hose being let loose in the house, quite abit of damage, just bought a new TV and thats drenched, all the floor is drenched, think its all covered though

I smell an insurance scam. New TV bet you it was a 42 inch plasma. Along with a new carpet and three piece, just kidding, but it is worth thinking about, stick it right up them my friend.
Nowt worse than flood damage well half you’re home getting blown apart might be worse, I was a plumber for 10 years and some of the sights I have seen, a single dripping pipe bring down a full ceiling, quite funny seeing a stupid prick with their finger over a hole which they have just put in with a 6 inch nail trying to hang a tiny picture frame up.

haha good point, looking at it now its not that bad, its wooden floor that should be ok, the sofas seem ok, just gonna have to wait until tomorrow to see if the TV works or not .. shall get the house serviced tomorrow get it fixed up good and propper this time
