I plan on training this afternoon, and tommorow morning... My question is, can that be potentially too much of a strain on my body, in other words, should my body get at least a 24 hour rest???

No, it's ok.

Just be sure to eat well and sleep well in between.

me i cannot do that anymore. Ever since i reached 32 years old i cannot train boxing every day anymore. I need 2 days rest. It gives my body a super blow and need to recover. I don't feel that with doing other sports or weight/cardio training which i can do daily.

There is no such thing as overlifting or overworkingout, just under recovery. I met a Navy SEAL who told me that one. :boxing: I think youll live.

I train 2 times a day: running and weightlifting in the morning, then gym work in the evening. If you eat right and get at least 8-10 hours of sleep at night, you'll be ok. Some things that also have helped me is talking a multi-vitamin, and taking protein shakes with glutamine in them.

if you take a cold shower to help muscle recovery you will ^_^, or a long cooling down, but i prefer the cold shower.
