Jason Maxwell (Freelance, Henrietta, TX.) def. Jens Pulver (Team Extreme, Bettendorf, IA.)

Round 1 - KO

Both fighters came out and felt one another out for 30 seconds. Maxwell landed two controversial low kicks that landed in Pulver's groin. The action was stopped and Pulver was offered his five minutes to regain self. Once the action was restarted Pulver came out and landed his own low kick that hit Maxwell in the groin. The action was once again stopped as Maxwell was given five minutes. Once that action began again Maxwell came out and landed a few strikes that sent Pulver to the ground. Maxwell quickly moved to the mount and landed several more big shots till the ref. jumped in.

Well that was the only fight i figure you guys cared about.

The whole event was intense no fight went more than 1 round.

Action packed night.

American Top Team went 1 -1 Wald got KO'd hard in the first when breaking from a clinchWald started throwing straight and cot caught with a HARD right hook KOing him and took another hard right hand on the way down.

Wald's oppenent his so hard he broke his hand on Wald's face.


Marcos Auralio won quite handily with a triangle choke from his guard. retaingin his title.


the night went with 7 KO's 2 triangle chokes and 1 unable to answer the bell.


HUGE props to Curtis Stout and Efrain Ruiz for putting on the fight of the night. There fight was the onyl one to go the whole first round and completely action packed. Stout hit Ruiz HARD to start the fight suckin Ruiz's gas but they went the whole round with Stout conserving energy and exploding while Ruiz tried to throw blows the whole round and gasing out to the point of not being able to grab what was basically a gift wrapped armbar.

Ruiz couldn't answer the bell and was busted up pretty badly.


Big ups to the ladies as well putting on a great fight with the fighter from MFS taking the win by KO.

the ladies fight was pretty good

as it started Tara was winning till she got caught with a stiff straight

it was mostly feeling out Tara landed some nice leg kicks that went unanswered and she hit Jen like 8 or so unanswered


then some more circling and Jen just connected HARD Tara basically ran and spun totaly unaware of her surroundings
and got rocked like 8 times she never had her hands up at all
just got stuck mad hard and fell out of instinct popped back up and ran over and over

the fight should have been called after the first time she got hit

The Ref was just watching

it was horrible

and jen like wouldn;t hit her while she was down anticipating the match to be called he just kept lettin her get back up

like jen would hit her tara would DROP

Tara would hit her head on the floor wake back up sit up get to her feet all while jen is standing poised to hit but not swingin
tara then runs ducks spins gets hit falls and starts over

That Ref should be fired he was horrible!
he was late on the pulver call to and stopped another on premature

he is a danger to the fighters

Being a ref is a hard job.
It is hard because there is a line.
You don't wan tthe fighters to gt hurt, but you don't
want to stop the fight to soon.

he stoppped the 2nd fight to soon.

i gues he was tryi nto make up for it at Tara's expense
