Tubbs returns Friday!
Tony TNT Tubbs (43-10 23 KOs), the former WBA heavyweight champion, returns to the ring on Friday night in St Joseph, MO, against Brian Sargent (16-13, 13 KOs) as a co-feture to the WBF Intercontinental heavyweight bout between St Joseph's, Rob Calloway and Topeka, Kansas' Andy "Sandman" Sample. The card will be held at the downtown Civic Arena in St Joseph. Tubbs hopes to stay busy with fights in November and December and start the 2005 year off with a bang, targeting comebacking Riddick Bowe.

As much as it pains me to say it, right now Bowe is a joke and so is his "comeback". He'll get beat up bad if he fights a live body.

people don't give bowe any credit, sure he's out of shape and rusty but there is not doubt he has heart and desire.

Comebacks like these don't help the HW division at all. :(

Bowe vs Holyfield 1 was one of the most exciting Heavyweight fights I have ever seen... But with that being said - The Bowe of today is just a shell of himself and really needs to get in some type of shape before stepping into a ring again. If Tubbs and Bowe fought now it would look like a bad sumo match.

Tubbs couldn't do much when he was good.Despite his special boxing ability, he doesn't have much to offer.And who truly knows how good Bowe is.Both should call it quits before something tragic happens.
