I experienced the fruits of first place in b-ball season my friend. It was inevitable...my team had a taste of first for a few weeks and they knew they had to get back to that #1 spot. The toxic mix of brilliant managing and players making plays was simply too much for anyone else to hold off. For awhile there I thought Rose was gonna come up and steal it from both of us though.

Baseball is a different animal though. I haven't given anybody else a sniff of #1 besides Polish. I hope 14-K gets the #2 regular season and someone ousts both of them from the playoffs in the other matchups.

I'd miss Harden but Liriano has been lights out, KO since returning.....my pitching plan has worked out so far.....Holliday/Sizemore and Ludwick are the most dynamic OF in our league. I'm happy just hope I can turn up the heat when the time is right.

I feel confident against both you and Sonny. My team is well balanced and some of my guys are starting to hit their stride at the right time. I bank on having a team where guys will perform at certain parts of the season to carry me through. Zimmerman, Rollins and Martinez have all been disappointments this year, but they are all coming on strong now. Same with Cano. Same with Javy Vazquez.

I faced you when you had just about the BEST offensive week anyone could ever have ever and I still managed to eek out a 1 point victory. That made me happy.

Obviously we're all very evenly matched this year, so any matchup is going to be razor thin, but I have this feeling that my squad is going to impress as the year winds down. I just have to hope that Treez knocks off Polish because ol' FairPole has had my number all season long.

And I have to settle for 5th this year in Gringos league.....Well I was 6th last year in my rookie year, 5th in my second season....I see big things next year. I continue to learn alot playing and enjoy it so much, it's become hopefully a life long habit. time to focus on football....got Gringo in week 3. Should be intersting and should be fun.

I didn't expect to win 3 years in a row until the end of the regular season...when I locked up first place I thought it might be destiny. Guess not.

Considering the level of competition it's crazy you made it to the final again. I thought Saad and Fix would make a bigger impact. Saad made it pretty far but Fix had another down year.

I'm looking forward to next year already though. I want another Boxingscene fantasy sports trophy on my mantle.
