Nothing distastful about it. It should be remembered as should Watson.

The only distastful things you say are about Tottenham but you are a Gooner so you can be excused as it's expected.

I personally was at 4 of those fights live, those being Benn vs Watson, Benn vs Eubank I, Eubank vs Watson I & II and Bruno vs Lewis.

I'd have Eubank vs Watson II as no.1 followed by Benn vs Eubank I, Benn vs Watson, Bruno vs Lewis and then Eubank vs Watson I.

Um thats er 5 fights lol (unless I can't count)

I would include all those fights too.

I bet we'll be adding Haye - Maccarinelli to that list.

You're right but I don't think he had Eubank vs Watson on there and I said four of those fights he listed. I just added the fifth because I want there. Also saw Benn vs Wharton as well and Lewis vs Mason.

On a sidenote when I went to Bruno vs Lewis I got Lewis' autograph and saw Joe Calzaghe make his pro debut and never thought much of him.

If someone had said he would make 19 defenses of the super middleweight title and unify it and go unbeaten for so long I'd have laughed.

Arthur vs Gomez was great. Naz vs Robinson was good but a bit onesided.

i thought Hamed demolition job of Robinson was Hamed at his best his best performance ever IMO thats why i picked that fight ,enjoyable to watch a prime Naz taking Robinson to school

to be Honest at the time it would have been an absorbing fight fight due to Watson having beaten Benn & pushing Mike McCallum so hard & Eubank having so many lackluster displays etc being disliked by nearly everybody Watson being the peoples Champion aswell,However IMO the fight itself was'nt that great IMO ,Gomez v Arthur was far better more drama

Calzaghe v Eubank was more entertaining than Eubank v Watson 1 IMO ,i should'nt knock your choice Hurricane as it is what fight apealed to u we all have our own criteria at the end of the day

Sorry, I should have stated what I meant. When I listed my fights in order of best it was only the fights I was at live. Arthur vs Gomez was a much better fight than the Eubank vs Watson I.

sorry divad, when i saw this thread i posted without reading any selections, hence the reason i repeated gomez and arthur and naz robinson fights

i really wanna see the gomez fight again, it was a cracker

i also want to get some of michael brodies fights as well, always felt sorry for him and he was a very good fighter. shame he fell just short and was robbed in the willie jorrin fight.

Anyone remember Anthony Farnell. I can't remember whether it was his pro debut or he had a few early fights, but remember seeing him get dropped in a war and coming back to win against another young pro who I think was unbeaten in a few fights. Anyway it was a ****ing corker and I thought this kids got balls and could go far. How wrong I was but can anyone tell me the fight, I've looked on boxrec and can't figure out which fight it was or who against.

Britain sure has produced some wars in the past. For me the best was Nigel Benn against Michael Watson, that was an amazing fight. Duran mentioned wanting to see Arthur - Gomez again, I haven't seen it for a couple of years and would really appreciate it if someone was able to upload the fight.

yeah his first fight with injin chi was really good and a close fight. his second fight i think he got stopped and was dominated really. its a shame cus he was a really good fighter from a troubled background and he deserved more than he got i always thought
