Nothing crazy. He showed he was in there to fight, but he gotta watch out for subbmissions. and I know they went through alot of survival tactics in his training camp. He was going nuts trying to force a stoppage and it backfired.

He's going to have to train his ass off to learn how to fight off submissions. Because no matter how amazing his wrestling and brawling skills are, people are going to know to shoot for his legs. I saw it coming even though I was backing Brock, once Mir was on his back and Brock was standing directly over him I literally saw Frank going for a leg.

I got nothing but respect for Brock, 1 because he came to fight and he took on a BIG challenge for someone his level in a new sport for him and 2 because he was such a gentleman, he is nothing but class. I would have liked to see him fight someone who is more the type to bang out with you but I truly think Mir only had that to his leverage, if he couldn't submit Brock it would have been lights out, he did it but his skill over Brock is what saved him, no excuses just like Brock said and congradulations to Mir but Brock is here to stay and he will do better.

In a way, I think it could be a good thing that he has lost in this manner this early in his MMA career.

I look for something very similar to what happened to Lesnar to happen to Kimbo Slice whenever he fights someone of actual skill.

With the hits Brock landed Mir's face showed "BIG" damage. With some time Brock will be a huge threat to anyone.

White put him in a PPV main event too early based on his name. He involved Mir based on his history with Sylvia but it backfired when Sylvia lost too.

he hung for a good while with an ex UFC HW champ in just his 2nd pro fight. once brock learns some BJJ, he will be a force. the power is there, just noth the technique yet

brock impressed me.....no matter what he went in there with no fear and pounded mir to a pulp.....i give mir credit for not folding and keeping his composure....brock will learn from this and get WAY better and believe me ill bet anyone all my points or even straight up cash that brock beats mir next time........

They put him in too early with somebody that is too good. Mir is a black belt in jiu jitsu and a former champion. What business did they have putting Brock against him in his debut. When someone debuts its usually against a tomatoe can. Brock got caught but he has a lot of potential. His punches are devestating.

they both lost last night by submission. obviously this is widely know knowledge, but Sylvia vs Brock is a pretty marketable fight, IMO.

and Dana White can go one of 2 ways though

1. make Brock vs Sylvia the next fight for both men

2. let each man build up with a win and then throw them at each other.

WTF? he only hit him once and that was bull**** the ref didn't warn him or anything and after he stood him up he was suppose to put them back in the same position they were in but the ref didn't do it. But overall lesnar was beating his ass his only mistake was when he tried to pull his leg out, but I assure you he's not gonna make that same mistake again, he just got too excited. I was hoping the undertaker or austin would go in there and start stomping on mir lol

I was impressed by Brock, but his inexperience was pretty apparent. They need to build him up a little more so he can learn to be more composed in there. He even knocked Mir down with a punch, though it might've been more of a balance thing. He just needs to learn to be more calculated

Lesnar impressed me even though he lost. He got caught by a sub specialist and was gracious in defeat. Once fully trained in Mixed Martial Arts he will be a force to reckon with.

Based on what I saw, I think Lesnar would have been better off fighting Sylvia. White did throw him to the wolves, and he almost ate the wolves.
Can't wait to see him fight again.

Lesnar showed his potential and will learn, and will without doubt in time wear the belt, to me though it almost looked he stopped to admire his work just before mir got him, he had mir in some early barney, but mir's experience in these situations got him home. All in all good performances by both

regardless of whats said i'm proud of the way Big Tim and Brock Fought 2nite :cool2: Sylvia went out there last night and showed what made him a ufc champ but got caught in the end,all respect 2 Nog but i guarantee Nog Vs Sylvia 2 will b alot different.
Brock Lesnar is a ****in beast...take my word for it in a year, year and a half he will be a top 5 contender if not the champ :hail:

nonetheless if they stop the fight to subtract a point,
they should still continue in the same position later so an advantage cannot be lost due to a stand up rule.
imo if they let lesnar pound away it is all over for mir.

Lesnar actually requested the fight with Mir. Turns out it was a poor choice.
