I believe Wayne isn't even on the same level as Lupe. His two albums are awesome especially The Cool, it's lyrically sound. Has Weezy released an album that matches the The Cool? Nope. I like Weezy, he has improved considerably, and he does spit a good verse from time to time but he seems to be only featuring instead of making his own tunes. The fact of the matter is this, Weezy is NOT better than Lupe.

Weezy fans are overrating him to levels has hasnt reached. Best rapper alive my ****ing arse, he isn't even the best rapper in the south.

Wayne has definitely improved over the years..He's evolved into something special....I don't think Wayne is better than Chamillionaire..I simply say Wayne is the best rapper alive because he claim the title and no one challenged it..TI is the King of the south for that same reason..

Lyrics- Lupe just brings more to the table and can rap about anything.

Flow- I gotta give this to Lil' Wayne he can go flowin for a while and still sound fresh.

Delivery- I think it's a tie. Both have great swagger.

Breath Control- Wayne. You can hear Lupe gasping for air after every bar. Even though I don't mind it.

Punchlines- Maybe Wayne because his are more obvious and easier to pick up on. But Lupe is quite clever and is relly good at masking his metaphors/punches.

Subject- Lupe touches on mopre things gotta go with him.

Versatility- Porbably Wayne he does a lot of different ****. But Lupe's last album showe dyou he can do multiple things as well.

I like they way you've put that. Wayne spits an awesome verse every now and then BUT virtually every single verse on either of Lupe's albums are exceptional

Why are poeple so enamored with him self proclaimng himself? It's called swagger. LL said he's the GOAT, but I don't agree. But at the same time I'm not gonna bash him for his bravado. That's one of the keys to being an emcee.

I voted Lupe. But in terms of enjoyment and who gets more play. I may favor Wayne a bit more to ride to in the whip. Even though I currently have Lupe in the CD player.

I'm not gonna lie I thought Wayne wasn't good. Then someone put me on to Carter 1 a little while after it came out. And I was surprised it was a good album. Then Carter 2 dropped and that **** for the most part is straight flames. He really stepped it up and ripped tracks like Best Rapper Alive, Lock and Load, Huslter Music. That album is nice to me.

So in terms of who I listen to more I think I listen to Wayne a bit more.

They both appeal to different audiences. I just picture 75% of wayne fans are 15 yr olds who dream of being gangstas. Lupe appeals to the type of people who listen to Common. He has a soulful tone to his music and amazing story telling abilities.

With alot of Lupe's music you tend to feel alot of it instead of just listening to it. Tracks like 'he say she say' for example. And the fact that he doesn't buy into the wanna be gangsta, flashing your money and buying rims bull**** just makes him even better. He's like the opposite of 50 cent. He aint a wannabe thug and he CAN rap. haha

For me I really don't care about the image that is being presented. Because at the edn of the day it's all about the quality of the music. If it's enjoyable it's no problem.

Everyone is entitled to their own opinion but for me LUPE wins this with ease.......

Flow: Lupe. Wayne varies his flow but he never really does anything incredibly difficult with it.
Delivery: Wayne. This isn't Lupe's strength, Wayne takes him on this one.
Breath Control: Lupe. Someone said that they can hear lupe drawing breaths...but he is doing far more complex things when he raps. This goes back to the flow category. If you aren't doing anything really difficult to accomplish flow-wise, why would breath control even be an issue for you?
Punchlines: Wayne takes this one.
