Yeah right, ****s. If you ever hear me say any one of these three things, someone has hacked my account & I am already dead.

Although I have to touch on this thing with the girls... I will never find one that suits me. I'm convinced of this. The last 3 I've dated have turned out to be so horribly unworthy of my time, I'm left comparing them to the video games I never play & I'm left asking which was the more negative investment... and I never quite come to a conclusion on that one.

I haven't been laid in months upon months, and although that can be a good thing due to it's tendency to keep me acute and violent, it tends to get kinda lonely... and my hand is getting tired... AND I'm running low on industrial bearing grease. I can't imagine the current situation is going to be a plausible one for much longer.

She's cool, but a little bit too LD for anything I'd be interested in past a couple visits here and there. Man, you see the way she just grabbed me and kissed me when we arrived at the hotel???? Good god, was I ever not expecting that ****. I think she likes me more than I liked her. That's fine and all, but I'm cool just being her friend. I'm not gonna call a chick who lives 6 hours away just to give me the sex. **** that.

Bro, game ain't the problem. If simply needing to get laid was the issue, surely there's pickins to be had in A) The pool of the last ex's friends that have been trying to jock me since I left that crazy *****, B) The pool of ladies currently influxing into my apartment building and simultaneously crushing on me (thanks in no small part to the marketing prowess of my other neighbor, who insists I'm the best looker in the complex), or C) The ones I'm currently not all that satisfied with.

I think the problem stems more from the fact that I thought I had this **** all figured out... as far as who I wanted to be with, what she was gonna be like, etc... I mean, let's be honest here. Last year, looking forward. I wasn't expecting to be with anyone right now. Matter of fact, I thought I had **** figured out. I was into a chick I thought was cool as ****, my friends were supportive, and the vibe was positive all-around after so long... and now, a year later.... I dunno... something fell off and I haven't figured out what it is. Or maybe I have and I'm dancing around the answer. Or maybe I'm just dancing cuz there's something catchy playing in my head on Background Music Radio. ****.

Blake, hold me.

For all you *******, traveling to places that are much poore than us is not that bad. Right before I moved from Cali To Oregon I took a 5 month trip to all over Mexico and Costa Rica. There are varying degrees of poverty and danger throughout those places but what you learn and see change you enough in a good way to make it worth it. The only really scary place I went was a surf camp @Puerto Escondido and the only things that scared me were the 20 foot faces in 6' deep water and the drug cartel that owned that part of Mexico(yes, no cops, no federales,no phones and 16 year old kids running around with machine guns) Only one person got killed and he didn't follow the rules. Any of the tourist spots are absolutely safe unless your an uncultured, typically loud mouthed rude american that goes there just to tear **** up. I can see why you didn't like it Purity. Tell me again how how you almost got arrested for not buying chiclets from those "smelly ugly ****ing kids"? Pardon the apparent lack of omniescence, my blue-furred friend... but I fail to see the correlation between anything on Tony's list, and something that resembles a positive change or something that would be "worth it".

Explain to me how corrupt feds, mexicans who watch you pee, three legged dogs and disgusting whores have ANY kind of positive bearing on my life. Then, explain to me how bribing my way out of a mexican solidier's bullet in my face with the last American dollar I have is anykind of learning experience.

nobody was being loud mouthed or rude. i'm not an idiot and i know how to conduct myself in areas that have the conditions that i listed off.
how did i almost get arrested?
well they came up, waving these boxes, i said no thank you, then about 10 more of them started coming up to me, no thank you no thank you, then about 4 federalis came up and started shouting whateverthe**** in my face and pointing to the kids. one of em grabbed my arm and the other pulled out handcuffs so i handed a kid a $5 bill with my other hand. he gave me the chiclets and the dude let go of me, shouted more **** and pointed in my face.

so sorry for offending your cause of acheiving nirvana in the ****tiest area of this hemisphere but that's how i feel. there aint no reason to start casting judgement on someone you've never even met just cause all 4 times i've been there have been the worst experiences of my life.

First of all most of what Tony said is bull****, I've been more than 50 times with full on tow headed gringos and have NEVER had a federaly **** with us, even when we got caught with pot. Once we had to give a local cop(they make $90 a month) 40 bucks to let my friend get off of a drunk driving. They don't all hate Americans, just the loud mouthed condescending rascist *******s that treat the locals like ****. Yes it is a poor country, but maybe seeing a little bit of what the vast majority of the world lives like might help many not to be such arrogant dildos that think the privilidges they're born with are deserved because they've done something so ****in' great when all they did was be born elsewhere. Also, the economy is a lot better than it used to be so it's not as impoverished as it used to be.

Smurfette's got a point here. If you were sittin on top of the hill, feedin those who tried to climb it a mouthful of boot everytime they came close to your ridge would become entertaining (believe it or not, in all of your infinite euro-queen lovin wisdom), and you might even build a little bit of a complex about it.

If we were hoppin canadian borders like it was going out of style, Canadian people could talk ****. If Americans were dodging mexican gunfire and scalingmexican walls for even an ILLEGAL shot at citizenship, they'd be able to talk **** too.

Thing is, they aren't. Everyone wants to be us. Everyone wishes they were here. Everyone watches our movies, watches our TV, eats our food, drinks our beverages, imports our clothes, follows our fashions, wears our brand names, drives our cars (okay, maybe not so much... thanks, Japan) & jocks our style.

Of course, I could sit here trying to teach the fundamentals of cultural awareness & ethical diversity to 10 guys and a couple chicks on a fight board, but alas, my better wit evades me on this day. I can see where the things we've discussed would frustrate you, but attempt understand it from the standpoint of that same "flagrant american" (for lack of a better term) that you have defined in this thread more than once.

The countries that look up to us in obviousness also **** on us in obscurity... we're mocked, laughed at and stereotyped as "americans" regardless of the diversity that is even integrated into our very culture. We are shunned by entire nations... not necessarily based upon religion or race... but just based on geographical location. There's a lot of envy and spite towards America, and to be honest, I do not believe the two are wholly unrelated. However, I do wish to come at you from something other than a typical american redneck standpoint, and kinda delve further into what I have said today about America, my pride in being an American, and my will to drive that point into the skull of whichever bag of euro**** decides he wants to debate with ol Mr. ^x0 today. It's nothing personal... it's just how I am.

And lastly... even if the world stopped ****ting on us for being us, and even if we stopped ****ting on the world for not being America.... the problem's still there, bub. Whether you want to believe it or not, we're estranged because of every little last detail that encompasses American life. Pick something... anything... sex, money, celebirty, community,... and some foreign termite will crawl out of the woodwork to tell us why their third-world ways far surpass those of the Americans. Right now, you're reading the words of someone who isn't taking that **** from anyone, for any reason. My fathers and grandfathers have fought in wars for this country. We've won medals. We've come home heroes. All for America.... and I don't care what some Norweigian types to me from his ****in Adobe with his can-&-string internet connection... we rule, we know it, end of story, **** off.

Thanks.

I'm leaving work for the day. It was a pleasure engaging in conversation with all of you. I might be online on the AOL thingy a little later... some of you haven't seen me on it lately, and there's a good reason for that: I hate everyone. Except my sister cuz I love her much.

I actually hear what you're saying Dave.

One of the things I am amazed at here is the patriotism that Americans in general espouse. The most patriotic you will ever see an Aussie is when we whoop any countries ass in sport (apart from basketball... hahahaha oh dear that will never happen). It's something I think is really good.

However, what is kind of irritating (to me at least) are the people who really think their country is all that without any deeper appreciation for what it took to bring America to the top, the price that was paid, and the people they stood on to get to that position. I'm not saying it's good or bad, black or white, just pointing out larger picture as I see it - in all it's shades of grey.

People like Arju's dad and her bro, who have fought for this country and continue to do so are the real patriots in my mind. I have the greatest respect for these people who put their lives on the line, regardless of the country, if they believe in defending it that strongly. They believe in it enough that they would be willing to die for it, and risk so much more than their lives.

Some people really do take for granted the blanket of freedom they live under, and forget who paid the price for them to live that luxury.

Dave, nothing wrong being proud of your country. But like I said, please don't try to forget what it took to get there. And don't forget the other people out there who do not have the same freedoms and luxuries you do. And for gods sake please do not think that makes you better than them. Better off perhaps, but certainly not a better human being.

Hope you understand what I'm getting at.

But yeah, the nail that stands out the tallest gets hammered down. I'd be pissed off too if people kept trashing my country if for no other reason than being the number one superpower.

Cheer up Dave, that will change in 5-10 when China supercedes America :)
