Mundine smacks around an old and past prime Roy Jones Junior for 12 rounds. He takes some shots early. But Roy runs out of gas. Mundine could stop him at will. Why? Roy hasn't returned. He beat a middleweight. He looked old in that fight to me. He waits on the ropes just defending, not throwing anything. Mundine times his punches well and will pull the trigger. If Mundine lands the same shot he landed against Soliman, its lights out for RJJ. - If you think this is Mundine bias your sadly mistaken. I think a lot of half decent fighters would beat Roy at this stage of his career. A match with Calzaghe or Hopkins would be a major mismatch. brently1979 01-27-2008, 10:54 PM Roy couldn't put away an over weight Super Welterweight in Tito, so at this stage I'd say Mundine could beat Roy Jones. woftam 01-27-2008, 10:58 PM Roy couldn't put away an over weight Super Welterweight in Tito, so at this stage I'd say Mundine could beat Roy Jones. Yeah I'd agree with that, but after watching highlights of RJJ v Tito - If Mundine couldn't beat him then it's time to retire. Mundine stoppage middle rounds. These RJJ fans are going to get a big dose of reality in his next fight. Did you see how he just let Tito hit him on the ropes, without firing back. He did it in round 5, 7, 9. Imagine doing that against Dawson, Glen Johnson or Calzaghe. lol. brently1979 01-28-2008, 12:56 AM These RJJ fans are going to get a big dose of reality in his next fight. I wish I had seen the fight, I had to leave the pub to go to the Soccer. I missed the Golota fight as well. Anyone got the card on DVD??? Greatwhitehope 01-28-2008, 02:14 AM I think Jones wouldn't let anyone bigger than Tito hit him the way he let Tito hit him. I'm fairly sure it was some form of tactic. infestacide 01-28-2008, 04:00 AM fight would never happen anyway, but i'd take mundine by late stoppage Dick-Sucker 01-29-2008, 07:17 PM I think Jones wouldn't let anyone bigger than Tito hit him the way he let Tito hit him.
