Black Thought and the whole Roots crew are underated to the max. I like how they have that laid back jazz influenced sound with LYrics. That Cody Chestnutt Joint is tight.

Good thread and props to Black Thought and the entire Roots crew. I can remember the first time I heard "Lazy Afternoon" I fell in love with them immediately.

Boom! must be one of the most lyrically skilled performances ever where Black Thought personates Big Daddy Kane and Kool G Rap. He even got the G Rap lisp down to a tee. The two legends themselves thought that it was them on the record. That deserves respect.
