0-0-0 for me. Only boxed for a very short time when I was younger, but I was from a small town and there were no boxing matches! It was great for the keep-fit though. Pretty soon though I then moved onto football and then onto women, drink & drugs so that was that.

Nowadays I'm an armchair fan but have been hard at work with my keep-fit regime for the last few weeks to get me in shape. Not to get back into boxing, just to keep myself fit & toned. Have to say, noticed a big improvement already - biceps noticeably bigger & even notice the abs are making an appearance! My father-in-law has a riley's punchbag which he's giving me so I can add boxing sessions to my regime - just need to convince the wife that the hook in the ceiling won't be all that noticable - lol!

By the way, props to all the guys on here who do fight. Some of you have pretty decent records!

i wouldn't really believe you either, seeing I had already paid you for the RJJ/ Trinidad fight, but you seem to be avoiding my PM's and claiming I still haven't paid you. Time to man up!!

I had a very long am career with a nice record 112 Wins 4 Losses 7 Draws with 49 KOs and I am 6-0 in pros so far.

I think my Knock out percentage in my last 30 amateur fights was something like 89%, I remember having average power in my early career gradually getting more power towards the end. I lost my first 2 fights too.

Hey man why are ya fighting bums? Call out b-hop and rjj. You need to move up in the boxing world. And step up your opponents.

Only joking man good luck.

Yeah, I demanded my next fight to be with an experienced fighter so I got a fighter with 49 fights. Sure he may have lost 45 of them but there was a big difference between him and lets say one of the guys I fought with 3 wins and 1 loss. My next fight will hopefully be against a fighter with over 15 wins, Jose Spearman was mentioned to me.

I have the same problem. Have spent over 2000$ over the last year in treatment for it. I trained too much boxing/bagwork and not enough back/shoulders, so my whole shoulder region just went kind of limp.
Couldn't even hold my hand up for more than 15 seconds before it went limp.

That shoulder injury is the reason for a good deal of my losses, if not directly, at least indirectly in the sense of motivation problems.

I have a record of 13-11 (8 or 9ko's).
I've only been fighting active a little under 3 years, with this being the 3 year following a 4 year lay-off.

I've lost 3 times to the same guy, so it isn't all that bad.
Most of my losses comes from international competitions, the junior european championship included.

If anybody want to see my last fight, PM me and I'll send a link.

spearman sounds like a big step up... but with yer amateur experience you should be alright..

I see your weight you fought at really fluctuated over the years..

Ya i broke his jaw, ruptured his eardrum, and broke his nose and one of his ribs. He got me a lil too, got my eye pretty good. All over my brotha and a basketball game at bball camp. I regret it though, streetfighting is not worth it. It's stupid, nothing good comes out of it except fear.

LOL i was bull****ting before peoples.

But seriously.

I haven't had an amateur career. I have played state sport before. Im a natural athlete. My trainer is confident we will skip amateur and head straight to pro sometimes around the end of next year. If i keep training the way i do and show improvement.

Good one. :notworthy One loss, that is.... don't go pro dude, there's a reason to have an amateur career.

My record is 1-1, I lost my first fight to a kid that was like 7-1, was pretty close though, I was winning up until the last round. My second fight was against a tough opponent with a very, very good pedigree.

Yeh but im different. My hand speed is better than most pros. And m defence is top notch already. I just need to work on developing more punches and fighting smarter. Fighting different styles. Really fast tracking my apprenticeship.

16-5-0 6ko was on a 5fight winning streak got beat on jan the 23rd. a feel so ****ty when i look at my record because i feel the fight that i lost i could have won.
I'm not being a sore loser but a couple of them a felt like i was robbed.
its a good thing aswell though because it makes me train harder and maked me want to win by as big a gap as possible

dw about feelin like a sore loser cos u got robbed, everyone gets robbed at least once in the amateurs, if not in small home town shows then especially in overseas tournaments and that, look at all the great pros now who went to the olympics and u'll see alot of em have been robbed there (pretty boy, roy jones to name a few...
