View Full Version : Black Women Voters Face Tough Challenge
Spare Moody 01-21-2008, 07:32 PM regarding Clinton & Obama, according to CNN "These women face a unique dilemma: Should they vote their race, or should they vote their gender?"
race and gender. unbe-****ing-lievable that people's use of a candidate's race and gender as a deciding factor in voting. God forbid we actually research the issues at hand that these candidates stand for. what goes through these women's heads?? "well, gee whiz, she has a bleeding hatchet wound in between her legs.......so do i........ok, i'm sold." and it's not just black women. it's the vast majority of all voters in my opinion.
what's worse is that this form of blind voting is actually given recognition. it's the main article on CNN's homepage! what's next? while we're at it, let's just ask all presidential candidates what their favorite ice cream flavor is and run a serious article on it.
yet another reason why i hate the media, i hate voting, and i hate politics altogether.
BrooklynBomber 01-22-2008, 03:08 PM Well, at least they are honest.
I mean let's face it, the most of american population are complete morons.
D.I.E.S.E.L 01-22-2008, 03:37 PM Its not a black thing. Women regardless of color are more likely to vote for Hillary if they are over 50. Its not a fact, but it is more likely.
Spare Moody 01-22-2008, 04:02 PM i am reminded of george carlin's take on honesty in politics:
"The most profitable business in America is still the manufacturing, packaging and marketing of Bull****. If honesty were suddenly introduced into the political system, the whole system would collapse."
Spare Moody 01-22-2008, 04:03 PM Its not a black thing. Women regardless of color are more likely to vote for Hillary if they are over 50. Its not a fact, but it is more likely.
i know it's not a black thing. it's not a woman thing either. it's a blind vote thing.
kayjay 01-22-2008, 04:07 PM Others pick by religion
Spare Moody 01-22-2008, 04:15 PM another stupid reason. and i'm a christian. Jesus made it pretty clear that politics and religion were two separate things...
BrooklynBomber 01-22-2008, 04:26 PM i am reminded of george carlin's take on honesty in politics:
"The most profitable business in America is still the manufacturing, packaging and marketing of Bull****. If honesty were suddenly introduced into the political system, the whole system would collapse."
But the truth is quite clear in politics, just think of the worst possible reasons and worst possible outcomes and there is your truth.
BTW, I used to see Carlin quite often, he lives right by where I used to work.
Spare Moody 01-22-2008, 05:00 PM carlin's great but he's been exceptionally cranky lately. sayin he's glad everyone died in Katrina??? dude, ****in chill....
RAESAAD 01-22-2008, 05:05 PM Can't Understand Normal Thinking
I figured out why they would vote like that......
ROSEWOOD 01-22-2008, 05:39 PM Just like you have African Americans that want to see the first African American president, you have WOMEN (regardless of race) that want to see the first woman as president...Its history and everyone want to be apart of it..Bottomline, history will be made with the election of this president.
Spare Moody 01-22-2008, 05:59 PM and it will reflect a disgraceful generation. lewis black also said it best regarding voting:
"if this is evolution then i believe in 10 years from now we'll all be voting for plants."
landmine950 06-12-2008, 11:44 PM It is a challenge! Most Black women voters don't know how to spell
" X "
VERSATILE2K12 06-12-2008, 11:46 PM It is a challenge! Most Black women voters don't know how to spell
