According to the Croatian press, MirnkoÇro Cop''Filipovic will be facing Heath Herring on the next Pride show.
I do't know for you guys, but in my oppinion this will be a kick ass fight.

If this is true...this could be a classic. Herring and Nog is still one of my favourite fights ever and Cro Cop would have close to the best stand up in MMA today...should be awesome

If hrring keeps it standing e could gt KO'ed, but if he takes it to the ground it'll be over fast. I think Cro-Cop's bjj instructor might make a big splash too. He's fighting one of the boys from Fedor's team.

I've picked cro-cop to lose every match too and was wrong everytime, but I still say herring.

I imagine Cro cop doing a lot of laterial movements and short combos. Sticking and moving. Forcing Herring to take highly obvious shoots in which he can spawl from and get knees to the dome...Remember, Crocop is going to make Herring play his stand up game...

Actually, Squezze's prediction is pretty accurate and is most likely what is going to happen. It's time for the happy Cro Cop bandwagon to get derailed, and the man to do it is Heath Herrring.
IF, and I mean IF Cro Cop somehow beats Herring then he would finally be a top 10 fighter, and could get a chance at fighting for the title.

I like Mirko and i hope he wins.

Herring is very strong and his shoot is one of the best in MMA. I quite frankly don't think is gonna be too difficult for Heath to take Cro Cop down. Herring is the stronger of the two and by far the better on the ground. Even though you can compare their stand up, Heath's has improved a lot(remember his fight against Erikson?).

What I meant to say by bringing up the Erikson fight is that his stand up is constantly improving; in that match he threw solid rounhouses and punches.
Another thing, you can't compare Sakuraba to Herring who is a lot stronger than Saku. To use Saku now, he took him down and Cro Cop outweighted Saku by at least 25 lbs. Are you really expecting Herring (who is the heavier of the two) to not be able to take Cro Cop down?

CroCop has suprised me time and time again, but I am still going with Herring....

I got Crocop via Ref Stoppage. Heath is one of the greatest. But Crocop Is the greatest at what he does.

The TexasCrazyHorse got this **** on lock. He knows CroCop got mad stand-up, and will logically stick with explosive shoots and G&P. Kamino can picture it now...CroCop launching a repetitive flury of mid section kicks and Herring single legging him, finishing him off with G&P.
