Who are the guys out there that have been avoided by the champions?

People who was made to wait for a title shot or maybe didnt get one at all.

One example for me was when GSP was made to wait for his rematch against Hughes. He ended up having to beat all the top contenders out there.

Any thoughts?

Karo Parisyan has been waiting forever for his title shot, and recently Arlovski was promised one after beating Werdum.

Belfort had to wait an eternity for his shot. Even after Randy and Saku squashed the notion that he was unbeatable, fighters still didn’t want to get in there with him.

The same will happen with Antonio Silva when he starts making some serious noise.

He has waited a long time for his shot, the Sanchez loss stalled him a bit but maybe they will throw him in after GSP v Serra

I defo agree with you on this one, ive been sayin for a while that he will be a major player in the heavyweight division.
