Garcia, Veira, Jacare, Roger Gracie. These boys had a lot of upsets, but aren't flukes. The wins the had today shows their grond game is all that. My question is, will it transfer in to MMA if that is where they choose to go w/ it? Alvarez, Schembri and others have done well in Abu Dhabi but aren't as successful in MMA. Even Royler and Ricco who tend to dominate in Abu DHabi have never eeally topped the Top Ten Lists in ther respected weight divisions. Saulo Ribeiro has never really fought in a big name organization and JeanJaques only fought a couple times once unfortunatel against a MUCH bigger Varleans). I still hope some of them make the transfer, Arona has done well and a lot of that can be credited tohis trainging w/ a great team and developing excellnt takedowns. It seems most of the guys today were BJJ fighters and if they just trained a Little w/ Gholar or someone similar, they'd make a helluv an impact.
