View Full Version : In and out just like a robbery... ROSEWOOD 01-18-2008, 03:05 PM I'll probably be a freak and let you get on top of me.... ---PAC--- ROSEWOOD 01-18-2008, 03:08 PM Pac had that continuous flow...Very few artist today have that skillset..The hooks, the beats, along with the flow was art at its finest.. Kobe Bryant 01-18-2008, 04:10 PM Yeah he was nice with it. I love that album. So many good/great songs on that double disc. And it only took him 2 weeks to do the album. ROSEWOOD 01-18-2008, 05:05 PM Yeah he was nice with it. I love that album. So many good/great songs on that double disc. And it only took him 2 weeks to do the album. That's the one thing I never believed about the making of that album...Two weeks!!! That's MAJOR.. jack_the_rippuh 01-18-2008, 07:26 PM The beats, his image, and the overall production is what really brought him out. While his style seemed kinda basic, it was really complicated. His skills in the studio were very underrated too. He invented some of the recording methods your favorite artists use today, you ungrateful scum bucket. jack_the_rippuh 01-18-2008, 07:32 PM Like Biggie, a raw opening line was very important to him... "Perhaps I was addicted to the dark side, somewhere inside my childhood, I missed my heart die..." But unlike Biggie, it was moreso the realness of the line that was attention grabbing. With Biggie it was just the complexity and the fact that he said the unexpected...or atleast delivered in a way one wouldn't expect. |
