The Fox Network show "The Pulse" will be showing a segment about mixed martial arts tonight. MMAWeekly has heard from a few people that the show will have a more positive feel than what we have seen from most cable television networks like ESPN.

One of the producers from the show is a huge mixed martial arts fan and this should help, but as our very own television expert, Ryan Bennett said "I wouldn't get too excited because there is always two sides to the story. That's the way television journalism is. That's my job here at NBC.... is to cover all sides of a story and it's no different at the Fox Network. Just because I'm a huge MMA fan doesn't fly with network executives. Not saying the piece can't be positive however I'm sure they will cover what the "bad" is in mixed martial arts."

it was actually a pretty good report on it. it was a balanced article, wasn't one sided for or against it.
