Thinkin of gettin one or the other for the 360 can anyone give a recommendation?

2k8 by far. I have both (live for the psp and 2k8 for the ps2) and 2k8 plays so much more better.

The players in 2k8 are more balanced. It's a lot harder I think. Took me a while to get used to it. There's more stuff to do in career. Teams actually offer trades in franchise mode etc.

The only thing I wish it had that live has is how the players tell you what they want or whatever. Though Live's players are so ugh.

I use the Denver Nuggets and I have to say they are a lot better in 2k8. Nba Live focuses more on the bigger names. In 2k8 though I like my bench just as much as I do my line up. Sure I've made a couple trades here and there, but Najera, Smith, and ohers really help the team when they are only like 70 overall just as much as AI or Mello does. (Well actually Mello helps my team A LOT, but yeah.)

I'd get 2k8.

Good question I'm thinking of getting one as well for live. But to but honest I'm leaning towards live. The 2k series tend to be more arcade like than live.

I dont like the gameplay on 2k8, but from what I hear the season mode is pretty sick. I'm just too used to Live gameplay.

Yeah getting used to making a lay up is really weird consdering you can make it in live like all the time.

The free throws though in 2k8 is ugh.
