I was born in 1974 in Detroit on the east side (I am 29)

I was allowed to be pretty free at the age of 5-6. I could not pay in the street, and I had to be in when the street lights came on.
The alleysand abandoned parking lots (and houses )were my playground. I played outside a lot and played sports as much as possible. I loved catching bug (this was what i did 50% of my child hood).

I played with: He Man,G.I. Joe, Transformers,Mironauts,Evil Kenevil motorcycle.

Video Games: Odessy, Intelivision,Nintendo,Super Nintendo,atari 2600

I also collected a lot of comic books, as I got older I got into roll play games like: Cyber Punk,Shadow Run, AD&D, Warhammer, and the best ever Warhammer 40,000!

I played with Transformers (favorite was the Lion that was the breast plate for Pre***ing) G.I Joe, Brave star, He-Man (moss man rocked but always collected lint).

I still Role-play with DnD, Shadowrun, and soon a Marvel-like game. I am a big child I guess. I havent played Cyber-punk or Warhammer yet.

I watched tons of horror movies with my brother cause we could rent them for a dollar. I still watch tons of horror to this day.

There is a super hero game that is the best called Champions. Its rules are the absolutw best when it comes to super hero roll play

im waiting on Silver Sentinal Heroes game. It is champions but on the d20 system instead of the old star wars system.

anyway i think champions was on a 2d10 systen not the ****ty starwars system.

I know im cool. My Mom tells me and my bus driver does also.

Started soccer when I was 7, played Soccer, Baseball, Football, and Wrestled everyyear until Highschool. I also played pogs, and marbles when I was young......

Ninja Turtles, Transformers, and Voltron where my favorite toys...

Nija Turtles were awsome, I just bought a couple for my daughter a year ago and they loved the movie.

I'm 25 and grew up in Milwaukee, WI. As a kid baseball was far and away my first love. Played whenever possible through high school and one year of college. Loved G.I. Joe, my neighbor had just about every damn GI Joe toy ever and we played that at least a couple of times a week. Started playing Dnd when I was 9 or 10 with some older kids in the neighborhood and played that til I was 17 or 18.

My neighborhood as a kid was the best, a park at the end of the street and kids everywhere. We'd be out playing all day and night, riding bikes, basketball, ding dong ditch at night. I moved to the 'burbs @ 12 and it just wasn't the same, everything was to spread out.

Me and my brother bought Nintendo in like 87 or 88, we saved $100 by ourselves to get it. Went to the store with a jar of change and bought it, I bet the salesman was pissed. That's probably the last time I saved money for something too.

There were a lot of kids where i grew up too, and now its like there are none, besides mine.

i didn't have much toys cause we were pretty broke.

i did steal a lott'v garbage pail kids from the liquor store across the street so that kept me entertained. besides that, my best memories were:

- breakdancing on pieces of cardboard to Sir Mix A Lot and Run DMC blarin outta the ghetto blaster
- collecting fake donations door to door while wearing my old cub scout uniform.
- riding my skateboard on my knees up and down streets
- throwing waterballoons and pinecones at traffic
- playing God and destroying entire villages of ants via magnifying glass sodom and gomorah style!!!
- pretending that my room was a ****pit to a spaceship. we shanked about 100 or so holes in my wall with a screwdriver and pretended that the holes were really buttons to the control panel
- watching tom and jerry
- dressing up like a ninja and roaming the neighborhood with my 2 swords (which were just two metal towel racks that i tore off the bathroom wall)
- getting beat up

You and Kato have like 12 don't you? At least they have each other to play with. Do you guys live in the burbs or the city now?

i also liked to draw a lot. my best memories were the carnivals that i went to so i mostly drew pics of the carnivals. then i'd put "to mom from anthony" at the top and give them to my mom. i also drew a lot of planes and jets.

i drew a lot of war scenes and scenes of freddy krueger cutting up people too. i gave them to my mom too but i don't think she kept them.

I gues its the burbs, we life 2 miles north of detroit in a city called Roseville. but is is more of an old burb and the real burbs are like 10 miles.

Good **** man, we were broke too so I played a lot like you did with home made toys till 4th of July came and then we would buy and take fireworks. thats when the real fun was,.....bugs fear me

I am 23 years old. I was born October 26th, 1979, in Los Angeles County.

I got started on the video games early... had an Atari 2600 when I was 4.... Pac Man, Frogger, Defender... Combat... wow, ****in Pitfall. Vivid memories of getting Jungle Hunt for my 6th birthday. and a Nintendo Entertainment System for my 8th. Super Mario Brothers... my friend beat it before I did over at my house, I was pissed.

Favorite toys, by far, were action figures. I had 3 suitcases full of original He-Man, Ninja Turtles, Marvel Comics, Gi Joe, Go-Bots (yes, ****ing Go-Bots), Star Wars and Transformers... if I'd kept a fraction of it in good condition, or in the wrappers, I'd be rollin on dubs. Saw a molded-plastic Yoda puppet go on EBay for about $800 when Episode 1 came out... I had that same puppet. I covered the ****in thing in Aqua-Net and sent it hurtling onto my manager's patio in a ball of toxic flames when I was like 9.

Used to loooooove Skateboarding. Double kick boards came into style when I was lke 11, and that's when the new evolution of today's skateboarding started if you ask me. Used to love goin off as many stairs as I could find... my record is 7, off the outdoor stage at my old Jr. High. I own. There used to be this big ol hill over on the other side of Topanga Canyon Blvd that bordered the west side of the avenue... we'd get the big ol cardboard boxes from the **** warehouses down the street, carve hand-holes in them ****ers, and shoot down those hills at like 20 mph. ****in sick. The hill had a sheer face to it... I'm gonna take pictures of it one of these days... but this thing is gnarly. About 300 feet of altitude and the thing has a face that gives you a good variable 45 - 60 degree angle on half-foot-tall grass the whole way down. Sick. And when you're about to hit the bottom, it looks like you're gonna fly off the lower ridge right onto Topanga.... but you never do. It's such a rush when you're like 13.

I also used to play the bread-loaf game:

You take a wheat loaf of bread, hallow out the middle with a knife, warm up some jelly and stick it in there. Lay down some plastic cuz it gets messy. Then **** the **** out of it. Feels kinda good. THere, now u have played the bread-loaf game. Be sure to throw it away though.. if anybody finds it they will look at you funny. Its even better not to tell anyone and make your friend some french toast with it.. BuhahAHHAHA!!! to this day i STILL HAVENT TOLD HIM WHAT HE ATE!!!! LOL!!

I had an intellivision. I liked Tron and Pitfall. I also had the mocronauts and G.I. Joe. Snake Eyes was my favorite. I also liked my Stretch Armstrong. Ever notice how with boys they're called action figures but for girls they're called dolls? Why this unfair double standard?

I really liked jumping off really high things.

i did stuff but i can't remember anything. supposedly i watched inspector gadget and other cartoons a lot. i only remember life clearly after 12 years old.

I also liked shooting things with my Beebee gun and blowing up things with firecrackers. I was also quite fond of fire.

I used to tie reptiles, animals, and insects up.. soak them in gasoline then light them on fire... i did this a lot.

I didn't have a bbgun, I was poor as a child. I had to settle for catching them in a net, tying their neck to a string attached to a wall and waiting a few days for it to die of starvation.

I couldn't bring myself to kill them - its against the bible.

I had BB gun. I killed things with it and felt awful. I have not dont that since.

i always got pushed off high things. got pushed off my roof, several trees (like billy mahoney from flatliners), and once got pushed off a 13 foot wall

All we did was play hockey, ride are bike's around town. In the summer we would spent the all time swimming. We use to go to the train bridge,the wall and the green train bridge. We never really palyed with any toys. We also had about 5 forts around the hood.

I was born in England in 1976, but moved to Australia in 1978. Where I grew up was definite burbs, but my street had 9 other kids all under 12 in it, including two sisters that were so cute I liked them even before I knew what girls were for.

We had a BMX track nearby so I use to ride that thing like a bastard. Played a lot of football and went to the beach a lot. I use to fish and catch lizards and frogs, but never cut them up or anything. I use to play with my dogs a lot also...

Damn I wish I was a kid again

I used to cripple insects and roast them with a magnifying glass under the sun. I'd also like to kill snails on the concrete and let the sun cook the ****ers over the course of the day.
