The first 16 people to apply, all put an amount of points in each(example 1000), and in exchange are given a team that is still left in this years champions leauge (below).
We would have to sort out some sort of draw to allocate the teams. Maybe use a poster on these boards who has no interest in footy to do the draw so its fair. Then, the person who has the team who wins the champions leauge come May, wins the money thats been pooled together.
Only a rough idea at the minute, but could be abit of fun.

I was thinking of doing the draw tomorow about 12.30 'ish, as im home early from work, but out on the ale in the afternoon as im off to the match.
I was gonna just keep it simple. Put the names of the 16 posters in one hat and name of the 16 clubs in the other hat, then draw a name and a club to go along with it ,ect ect.
Il keep it all fair, so please dont think its a con if you end up with one of the poorer teams.

I was thinking if we dont get the last player (we have only got 15 at the minute), do you guys think it would be fair that the first name drawn out the hat, is paired with the first team out the other hat (as with the rest of the draw), but the first poster out the hat gets a buy, as we are 1 player short.
For example, the first team out the hat is Lyon, therefor the poster who is paired with Lyon also gets Man united (as they are playing eachother), so in effect that player has a buy for the next round. I know this is a bit unfair if someone gets a tem like Arsenal, as they would also get AC Milan (as they are plaing eachother), so they have 2 of the competitions favourites.
Just that i carnt see anyother way around only having 15 players.
Also everyone has the same chance as eacother in getting the buy.

If anyone has other any ideas that would be great. Of course all problems would be solved if we found a 16th player.

well the refereeing was a joke to be honest and completely ruined the game as a spectacle. i always find second legs more exciting as well. the liverpool game is far from over though

Agreed the game is far from over but they need to score three to go through so they will have to come at us, we very rarely concede and if we nick one on the counter they need four so......I can see it being 2-1 to Inter on the night.

We do in Europe.

Two finals in the last three seasons backs that up, its our domestic form that lets us down. As for goals in the Premier league we are short agreed but we still have the third best goal difference and have scored more than Chelsea, our failing has been not turning dominating draws into wins!

i saw them play in the uefa cup. they have skill and great passing ability, but they struggle agaisnt a fast paced team i feel. the only thing is you have to not mis pass and take your chances agaisnt them if you play that style.
