View Full Version : Footie-free Saturday
kayjay 01-05-2008, 09:19 AM I have to tell you that I don't like your tradition of holiday football. Perhaps in good Limey families you sit around the TV and watch on Christmas and New Year's. We don't do that. But I'm still on holiday and was looking forward to today for an entire slate of English footie, since I haven't watched any for nearly a month. There's no PL though, and Ipswich in the FA cup is not likely to get me logged off this site.
You need to change this ****. It's not good for the players either.

All me saturdays are footie free. Get into womens volley ball. You can re-watch the same match over and ovr again because the score becomes irrelavent.
msagrain 01-05-2008, 11:59 AM Me beloved Stoke play Newcastle on sunday on BBC1

TheHoff'sGhost 01-05-2008, 04:23 PM Red scum cunts.
We were robbed.
kayjay 01-05-2008, 04:26 PM I was just reading up on that Hoffer; though the report I read did not mention a robbery

To be honest, it wasn't a great game. We played cautiously and stifled them for most of the game. It was fairly even for the majority of it, but as is often the case, the red scum did just enough. Rooney made the cunting difference when he came on.
kayjay 01-05-2008, 04:33 PM You don't hate Rooney, do you?

Thanks darling :luvbed:
Smokin__ 01-05-2008, 04:46 PM Watch the Ipswich - Potsmouth game. They got two nucks (1 i have trained with). Hume and Begovic.
Prick.
Mozza 01-05-2008, 05:11 PM Villa were disappointing today. I've seen them alot recently and have been impressed by the boy Young but today they never really made use of their pace and if there's one thing Man U are vulnerable to at the back it's pace. It was also very unlike O'Neill to adopt those kind of tactics in a cup tie.
Addition 01-05-2008, 07:47 PM Man Utd were too clinical for Villa.
mickeyb 01-05-2008, 08:21 PM Villa didn't have to many chances though Hoffy. Sorry mate, i was thinkin of thou - and i was cheering for the AV.
The red scum are something else though, aren't they.
It could have been very different - Giggs and Rooney both missed sitters.

I wouldn't say Rooney missed a sitter, it was a good chance though.

i guess, what i meant was Rooney seems to always put those shots in the back of the net. I was suprised, really suprised when it didn't.
It was a sitter for him............but erm... not for most strikers..or anyone in the SWFC team. Hahaha.
kayjay 09-07-2008, 10:41 AM It's the same deal with international breaks. Yesterday had a replay of the English Under-21s, followed by Denmark vs. Hungary. I think the spanish channel had two Central American minnows. How am I supposed to enjoy a weekend like this?

It's the information age, everything is on the TV.
But yes I have 160 EPL games this year, none on this sorry weekend.
