View Full Version : UFC or Pride Kempo Chris 05-11-2003, 07:52 PM Discuss which one you perfer and why Fallout 05-11-2003, 11:33 PM UFC I like the cage better (dispite what you might think, its safer for MMA than a ring) I also like the fact the UFC promotes it as a sport. If I wanted to watch pro wrestling, I'd watch pro wrestling thank you very much. People complain that the UFC doesn't pay the fighters enough. Well, we can affect that boys and girls. Support them over PRIDE. The PRIDE doesn't give two ****s about north american fans (thats a quote). Also, the only way the sport is going to grow is if the organization promotes its self as a sport. Leave the "flare" to the fighters. E.G Phil Baroni, Genki Sudo ect. The organization must be about the stake, not the sizzle. Bluecifer 05-12-2003, 07:25 PM I hate the cage, it obstructs the view and is too conducive to GnP, which I find less entertaining. i like the weight classes and semi-professionilsm of UFC, don't like the way they treat the fighters though.
