Nice I was hoping that GSP would dominate again. Good to see he KO'ed Hughes in the second fight and now submitted him in the third. Shows he's an all around MMA fighter.

everyone knows that George is a great fighter but come on man, Hughes was just past his prime. George did not even dominate like that in the second fight. Hughes in his prime was too good to be dominated and bullied around like a rag doll by anyone in history. :boxing:

i agree that hughes was past his best days but i think focusing on how good canadian george is; is much more fun and effective than talking about how hughes' karma for being such a tool has caught up with him.

I would still like to see a Hughes vs. Serra fight just for the heck of it.

You guys gotta remember here,...this is St-Pierre he's dealing with. Hughes was a great fighter and a great champ and he would still beat every welterweight out there...but GSP is a ****ing monster and is going to kill Serra and have a long reign in the Welterweight division if he doesn't move up. Him, along with A.Silva, are the two best MMA athletes at this moment...Fedor is the best MMA fighter, however.

I personally never wanna see Hughes in the ring again after that. GSP did exactly the kind of man handling to Hughes that Hughes did to the entire division in his prime. The thing about it is in the promos for the fight it was funny with Hughes's claims to be alot better on the ground than GSP. GSP would take him down on the ground the entire fight and dominate him. If GSP fights like that Sera has absolutely no shot in hell and this coming from a Sera fan.

yup Serra should b cleared 2 fight by than and Dana White said in one of his interviews that no matter the outcome of last nights fight with Hughes that GSP would b fighting in April on the Montreal Card.
:purity: everyone counting out Serra already....:nono: the same stuff everyone was saying b4 their last fight an that was because of George St Pierres' stand up an Serra knocked GSP on his ass 3 times that fight, and if the fight ends up on the ground Serra has him beat there as well IMHO, Serra is a hell of alot better on the ground than Hughes.
GSP has been working hard though, and if he has his head on right for the Montreal card than it will b a great fight.
I'm a big fan of both fighters and would b happy with whoever won, but jus counting Serra out so early jus bugs me :lol1:
