Good evening, just wondering if any of you know where Sam Soliman, Sakio Bika and Vic Darchinian are and what there next moves will be, eg. up coming fights, rankings etc. I just don't really know where they are and what they're planning. I hear Bika wants Mundine at some stage but with Mundine already scheduelling a fight and considering a Green Re match I figure Bika will have to find someone else to fight.

I got told today that Drews was 2 days away from signing to fight Mundine. But Green offered me more. This tells me Mundine is after some titles, no matter what, which is a half decent sign.

Im confident. After the Hamden fight. He fights Bika. And then Inkin as a mandatory. Both fights may be in the US depending on the Bika outcome, as to whether they like his fighting style. Then he will probably go after Lacy if Kessler doesn't get to fight Lacy.

Katsidis, will have big fight soon. He will win, the guys simply a true warrior. I hope he fights D Diaz.

Soliman, hes now over the hill, i like the guy though.

And Green, fights the argentinian mandatory and then goes on to Erdei and Woods. And then rematches Mundine in his last pro fight.

Aussie boxing looks bright. But where gonna have to wait and see how it pans out at the end of 2008. Because Mundine could keep fighting bums and Katsidis could loose, making it a devastating year for us.

I didn't disbelieve you, I wondered most about Green fighting Erdei & Woods and whether these were things you knew were happening or hoped were.

I think a battle Royal to determine who is the best Aussie fighter.

What's Paul Briggs up too? I'm lead to believe it's hard for him to find fights.

Well Danny is not going to waste his time and fight bums, Mundine probably will. But if Danny beats Garay in his mandatory, expect him to fight another champion, or a massive name. Hes going for it, im pretty sure.

i hope green doesn't fight erdei...stay away from germany...not to mention erdei's style beats danny's i reckon...

woods...would be a real matchup as woods is a better boxer, but doesn't mind brawling too, which is where danny could win...this fight would be in the UK and there wouldn't be much money in it for Green.

I'd say Green should try and fight a decent american fighter in the U.S and try and force his way to a fight with a Lacy or Tarver...that would land him good bucks plus good exposure.

Katsidis....I still think they are rushing him into fighting either Diaz or Casamayor..for me a perfect next opponent for him would be a Nate Campbell...for some reason his team are only thinking one fight away instead of thinking long term.

Darchinyan..i wish he does well in phillipines when he fights z. gorres, but I see him losing a one sided decisions.

Paul Briggs...fk knows with that guy, I just don't know what his situation is.....maybe he's had enough..I understand he'd be frustrated at not getting big fights, but that is no reason not to fight at all...an old saying is that "its better to work for nothing than not to work at all"....hence Briggs being so inactive at the moment...finished.

I'm curious at what Rabah and Ndou are doing.....they are both good fighters and should be active also....a rematch would be great.

i think vic has kind of lost it. He doesn't seem to the be the fighter he once was.
I kind of think he could have beaten Donaire had he beaten a bit more cautious.

So no one's got any real idea with Soliman? How old is he now?

34. Just checked Boxrec for you mate. But hes pretty much finished now on the world scene.

Sakio will get a shot. I think it will be against Mundine next, but i really can't see him winning and im gonna punt that he gets stopped and that Mundine gets knocked down once, but comes back to win. (Presuming they will fight next, Green is set to fight a few contenders and fight Mundine in the last fight of his career).

Aussie boxing is really vunerable at the moment mate. I have been posting heaps of threads on our guys. But realistically, Danny will get smashed against any high ranking LHW, well likely he will. Briggs is finished. Mundine may fight bums, and thats really going to be the final straw for our boxing prospects over the next few years. More responsibility goes to Kickett.

Danny Green VS Clinton Woods (Never seen him fight but Clinton brings it)
Mundine VS Froch
Katsidis VS Khan

I would love to see the last two, they would be very exciting fights.

Cheers, poor old Sam, really like him.

I see what you mean about Aussie boxing, it is indeed in trouble, hopefully Katsidis really kicks it up a notch and wins a few more big fights.

I pray that Bika beats Mundine, KO in the 8th.

Yeh, i wish Sam took home a world title hes such a nice guy.

I hope Katsidis goes to the next level. But lets be honest, he gets hit a lot, and i think he might loose soon against one of the Diaz's.

Mundine TKO's Bika in the middle rounds. But wanna see the fight because i think he will get hit a few times, big hits aswell.

I felt sorry for Sam on the contender, i wanted him to win, he deserves a break or two.

Do you think that Mundine hits harder than Codrington?. Bike is one tough guy and has a hell of a chin on him.

Katsidis would definately beat David Diaz and Julio Diaz, the Baby Bull is a beast though and i think it would be a great fight.

Bika V Mundine would be pretty simple, boxing match-Mundine SHOULD win, Fight/Brawl-Bika easily

Unfortunately....ill think u will find that mundine will fight soliman @ super middle again in late May or early June possibly in Melbourne.

Should say that im a soliman fan...and i dont see why he should be fighting @ super middle. He should be fighting at his natural weight.
