According to Kevin Iole of Yahoo!Sports, Matt Lindland has spoken with Dana White about a possible return to the UFC. The meeting occurred after WEC 31 where Lindland cornered Chael Sonnen in his defeat at the hands of Paulo Filho.
Dana White replied to the meeting in a text message.
“He told me he wants to come back," said White via text. "And I haven’t thought about it at all.”
This move would certainly ramp up a depleted UFC middleweight division, but remains very preliminary.
