Don't give me a list, and don't preach about the virtues of vodka.
Right now I'd have to stick with Canadian. Either that or Moosehead.

LukeDothSucketh 05-07-2003, 07:50 PM Moochign bastard Fallout 05-07-2003, 07:54 PM I enjoy "Pale" beer because it tastes less skunky seldomTap 05-07-2003, 10:17 PM Creed, you would like Coopers Pale ale, which is made in my home town...is the only decent thing to come out of Adelaide honestly... bob 05-07-2003, 10:23 PM apart from me seldomTap 05-07-2003, 10:36 PM No Bob...you are well wrong on that realkaps 05-07-2003, 10:39 PM Mickeys..... bob 05-07-2003, 10:40 PM fqatshv hvuekr jviur The Jake 05-08-2003, 02:36 AM http://www.fosters.com.au/corporate/images/beer_brands_cold.jpg Carlton Cold Carlton Cold was launched in 1993 and enjoys a significant share of the packaged full-strength beer segment. Cold is produced with a cold-filtration process, pioneered in Australia by Carlton & United Breweries and is also the first beer in Australia to be packaged in clear glass and the only beer packaged in unbreakable PET bottles. http://www.fosters.com.au/corporate/images/beer_brands_crown.jpg Crown Lager Crown Lager is Australia's finest beer and unrivalled as leader in the nation's premium beer market segment. Crown Lager has a distinctive flavour and is brewed using only the finest ingredients and extended lagering to deliver a creamy fruit taste and rich, malty palate. These are my two favorites (from the Foster's website). I can only drink Corona's for so long. Corona's are nice, but have their own tang and after a few too many, they don't sit too well with me (like tequilla). These I can keep chucking back all night. - The Jake seldomTap 05-08-2003, 02:39 AM Carlton Cold in the plastic bottles is/was ****e...it isn't the same not being in glass, I can't explain it, it just isn't right. That use to be a staple beer wherever or whenever I went out back in the day...but my tastes are more refined now and my wallet is usually better off so I can afford Coopers/decent beer. Grolsch, McCaffreys, Guiness and Kilkenney are also pretty good bob 05-08-2003, 02:42 AM no offense jake but carlton colds are wack....they are too frothey... and taste to much like chemicals. pales are good , crownies are better but carona rule all J-Garden 05-08-2003, 02:44 AM I like Stella Artois, but i generaly drink Grolsch. Like Seldom I like Caffreys, Kilkeny is crap and Guiness is like a pint of Marmite topped off with shaving cream, undrinkable. This beer is also good. http://www.jeffrey.garden.btinternet.co.uk/sheep****ing.jpg seldomTap 05-08-2003, 02:47 AM Send me a carton of Sheepshaggers!! Just for the labels! bob 05-08-2003, 02:48 AM stella artios aint too bad if its icey cold The Jake 05-08-2003, 02:48 AM I don't like Coldies in plastic either. I only like them in glass. They definately taste different to other beers. This is a personal preference, I don't mind telling you. Just a beer I really have grown to like I guess. Crowns are nice but very rich. Haven't tried the Coopers yet (even though I should). I liked Hahn's as well, they're ok. Corona's are good... very good... I'm just saying there's only so many I can have. Any beer that's called "Sheepshaggers"... well they say never judge a beer by it's cover, but in this case I think an exception could be made.... - The Jake seldomTap 05-08-2003, 02:48 AM I will serve it to sheep loving New Zealanders! seldomTap 05-08-2003, 02:50 AM Tooheys extra dry is also a pretty clean tasting, easy to skull drop bob 05-08-2003, 02:52 AM oh **** yeah hahn ice is mad J-Garden 05-08-2003, 02:54 AM Originally posted by seldomTap Send me a carton of Sheepshaggers!! Just for the labels! Haha, you wopuld actually want a beer that declares what kind of man you are? I actually bought a few, drank the rest and kept the last for novelty value, it claims to be a bottle conditioned beer made naturally. The slogan on the side says " The best beer baa none", the marketing men must have spent thousands on that. seldomTap 05-08-2003, 03:00 AM That is awesome...at the Rugby club it is like a scene out of Once Were Warriors some nights...some Sheepshaggers would be just what the dumb kiwi's need J-Garden 05-08-2003, 03:07 AM Originally posted by seldomTap That is awesome...at the Rugby club it is like a scene out of Once Were Warriors some nights...some Sheepshaggers would be just what the dumb kiwi's need It holds very true for Aberdonians like me. Back when all the Clans used to go to war, alot of the men would take a lock of their wives hair for luck, some of the aberdonian women were reluctant to part with their hair (the *****es) so they dyed wool and gave it to the men, when this was found out we were called sheep shagger and still bear that name to this day. seldomTap 05-08-2003, 03:13 AM No ****...New Zealanders are called sheep shaggers cause they genuinely do **** sheep J-Garden 05-08-2003, 03:17 AM I could have fabricated that whole story to avoid mentioning sexual relations with sheep. My last defence in court was based around the fact i was only trying to help it through a fence when my trousers fell down. seldomTap 05-08-2003, 03:24 AM As long as its hind legs weren't in your rubber boots as well, you are perfectly innocent... it isn't your fault that sheep backed into you while you were aroused! submission_guy 05-08-2003, 05:24 AM anything i can hook up to my beer bong, but usually coopers pale ale or coronas if i have the cash.
