The latest MMAWeekly World MMA Rankings were released on Wednesday, December 19. This system ranks the top ten MMA fighters from all across the world in each of the six largest weight classes, as voted on by MMAWeekly.

We take into consideration a fighter's performance in addition to his win-loss record, head-to-head and common opponents, difficulty of opponents, and numerous other factors in what is the most comprehensive rankings system in the sport.

As always, fighters who are currently serving drug-related suspensions are not eligible for top ten consideration.

Here are the current MMAWeekly World MMA Rankings, which are up-to-date as of December 19.

I dont think Shogun should be as high as 2nd at LHW.

Nick Diaz isnt even in the top 10 at LW? Drug test or not he beat Gomi.

I do not think Diaz should be in the top 10. He just lost to KJ Noons.

I couldn't see BJ Penn in there at all? He is top ten in the lightweight division for sure, if in shape, top 3 IMO.

....what the ****? Griffin beat Rua (9 times out of 10 Rua would beat Griffin if he actually trained for it) but he still beat him so he should be ahead of him. Why the **** is Liddell so high, and higher then Jard?
