I thought iron mike did not look all that bad considering he fought injured. If he had not hurt his knee he would have finished Williams. Maybe he is to old, but come on he could beat up on Byrd or on the disgraceful Ruiz.

true he did not look too bad until he hurt his knee. but he HAS to fight, i doubt he wants to pay the rest of his debt off by doing infomercials like O.J.

he should fight again becuase he is in debt. As far as being competitive? Those days are over. His heart doesn't seem to be in it. He is strictly a three round fighter at best. I couldn't see him beating any of the top guys at this point. He will continue to spark conversation and bring in PPV dollars...and then disapoint us like he always has over the past 10 years or so.

I do not think he can ever seriously be considered for one of the premier heavyweight titles, but I still think he can beat a whole hell of a lot of the heavyweights out there. To me, I thought he was going to stop Williams in the first round when he started unloading before Williams managed to hold on.

It's hard to get your heart into a fight when you NEED to fight to pay yer debts.

I hope Mike fights again. From what I saw in that Williams fight he still has something left. Plus he has Roach in his corner and you cant go wrong wit that. As long as you have bums like Brewster, Ruiz, and Byrd as HW champs Mike has a very good chance of grabbin a couple of those belts. He is still the most excitin HW out there.

if he trains like the old mike tyson his has a good chance of getting a belt. he needs to use his anger toward don king when he fights. pretend that bum ruiz is don king.

What the hell?? Piece of Crap Evander holyfield??? What stupid comment. Holyfield is a legend and ****ed over Tyson twice, so shut up!
As for the rapist Mike Tyson, who cares, i wanna see him hurt and i prey he fights Vitali Klitscko, because there is a chance he`ll take a hard shot to the temple and get hurt.
Tyson should have been banned from boxing in 1997.
Danny Williams is like the journeyman fighter, he isn`t that good and Klitscko has an easy defence in December.
I Tyson will sign to fight Clifford Ettitane rematch in march, thats the way Shelly Finkel is talking recently. Rematch with Ettitane, then probably a comebacking peter Mcnealey and a tough one against Jermary Williams before he considers fighting anyone with a pulse!
I think the Ettitane rematch is headed for Michigan. Peter McNealey will take a warm up fight in November then start training for Tyson.
I can just see it now...undisputed champion of WBF, IBO, IBC, NABF, Incontenitel, WBO and WBU, and old Mike Tysonnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn!!

I reckon enough is enough for Mike.

i hope he finds other revenue options.

Yes he can still be competetive, but the risks are too hig.

iron mike should retire, he's got enough problems

If Mike retires he'll have more problems. Less money in his pocket = problems. I think Tyson is way past the prime of his career but still might have enough left to beat some of the top heavyweights when his knee heals up. The power is still there but is his heart? ... That is the question only Tyson can answer.

I'd say Tyson still got something left in him after watching the fight with Williams. Too bad he hurt his knee. I don't think, however, he will ever be near what he once was. He seems to have lost that killer instinct of his :(

I think people seem to forget that tyson will always have a punchers chance, as long as he carrys that 10 ton punch around with him, he can KTFO anyone.

He does need his heart back, cause he is only in it for the money, but if he gets the heat back along with the intrest he will beat people more convincingly, get more money, get out of boxing quicker, have better health, so get ya heart back on ya sleeve mike, and kick some ukrainian arse

Panzergirl

yeah.. he could go to ukraine and everything..

I am a fan of mike tyson and there are only two things tyson needs now.

1.Jesus
2.go back to cus de amato gym and train the way he trained when he started he would win the title and concerning williams I believe if there is a re-match Tyson would actually kill him .

It's amazing how all of you NUTLICKERS have figured out that all that Mike Tyson has to do to get back on top....is to TRAIN HARDER.

Gee....if only he'd listen to you guys.

Give me a break. He is s-h-o-t.

He's a stubby frontrunner & doesn't have what it takes, physically & mentally, to get in & WORK for a victory.

You nutlickers have a COMIC BOOK HERO vision of this guy....believing that the only reason he loses is because he BEAT HIMSELF.
You'd all do him a favor by letting go of your obsession, because you all encourage him to continue fighting.
Face it....he's gonna wind up BROKE, no matter what. All you all are doing is making sure he winds up brain dead, as well as poor.

If Tyson was really injured in his loss to Williams and did not lose because he is washed up, I think he should still fight. As we see now, even an average HW can become a champ.

No, Tyson should not fight again.

Tyson isnt what he used to be but with the proper attitude and training he can win a belt or two, he can still knock out anyone in the division on his best night. win or lose who is more entertaining in the ring? nobody

I hope he does get a title shot, because it is sad to think he is reduced to fighting no-name fighters just to raise enough to pay off his debts.

i would definately like to see tyson fight again, but i do not think its a good idea. he is not what he was. he blew his chance. he was too busy wasting money, hitting women and going to jail when he was in his prime. i might not sound like a tyson fan, but i am. im just being realistic. mike find a way to say affiliated with boxing just stay out of the ring.
