In what is expected to serve as the co-main event alongside Anderson Silva vs. Dan Henderson, Rich Franklin and Travis Lutter are set to battle in Columbus, Ohio at UFC 82.
Franklin is coming of a brutal TKO stoppage at the hands of Silva and will look to get back on track against Lutter who also lost against Silva in his last fight.

good to see gurgel back.....hope he gets back on track...i knew i would see his name pop up as soon as i saw franklin fighting.....i wanna see leben vs. franklin........finally silva vs. henderson is official......silva WAR!!!.....anyone got news on vera?...

last i heard of leben he only had 1 fight on his contract an was named head instructor of a gym in east ohau.
vera is still out with the broken hand an wouldn't expect him back til mid spring 2 early summer.

...why the **** is Franklin still getting title shots (guaranteed if he wins this he will be next in line for a title) and big showcases.....

i think lutter will shut down franklin by submission. franklin shouldnt get a title shot for a while
