My buddy who teaches Krav Maga here in my area asked me if I could bring a few guys from my local fight gym into his school today to spar a few of his high level students during their examination. So I brought a few Muay Thai and BJJ guys down with me as sparring partners for his guys. One of the guys I brought ended up injuring one of his students. It was an accident (He threw a perfect scissor sweep) and his opponents foot got caught up on the mat.
I feel terrible cause I feel responsible for this and it is eating me up inside. I know injuries are common in combative arts/sports, but I cannot help but feel that my friend is a bit upset at me. ****, this is a very weird situation cause I feel totally responsible. The ambulance had to be called in and their test had to be cancelled due to this unfortunate incident. I cannot help but feel that I ruined the entire test/ceremony.

I wouldn't stress over it. Accidents happen, that's why they are called accidents. Your friend is probably just disappointed. Hardly your fault, you did him the favor.

They happen, don't feel bad. We have these two guys in our gym, best friends. One of them broke the other one's nose with a jab! He even had to have surgery because of a sinus problem it caused. They are best friends, so you know it was an accident.
How could you do this Palma! You ruined their big day. You big mean bastard!

Try not to think about that cuz it wasnt ur fault at all. Just an accident, they happen a lot. Plus the injured guy knew what was he signing up for when he started combat sports. And yet that could happen to ANYBODY so dont blame yourself, you did no bad at all.
