Since my underwriting department is completely incompetent and all i can do is sit and wait for them to pull their heads outta their ass, then i thought i'd take some time to share my beliefs.

i believe:

-in God and the Bible

-to treat people with respect whenever and wherever possible. if they piss on you in return (98% of the time, they will) then you can at least say that you tried your best. just walk on and let them continue to swim in their ****.

-to do everything you do the best you can do. if you don't plan on giving it 110% effort then don't even attempt it.

-the poor deserve no sympathy. we're all given a choice in life so it's up to you on which path you walk. if you walk down the wrong path then dust yourself off, learn your lesson, and always strive to improve. but DON'T blame others and spend all of your energy justifying why others are screwing you over.

-vegitarians are morons. especially if they think they're cause is worth a ****.

-i'm not perfect. very far from it. never claimed to be though.

-relationships are all about growing. not just putting up with eachother. if you can't grow for the better then you're in a dead relationship and your fear of being alone dictates a hollow waste.

-big corporations and politicians don't hold the common man down. they just provide good scapegoats for people's failures.

-true strength is recognizing, accepting, and working on your weakness.

-i'm an alcoholic, talk too much, drink too much coffee, tend to act controlling when it's not always necessary, and am totally out of shape.

i'll ramble some more beliefs in a sec. just gotta return some calls now.

you will also be limited on HOW many children you can have in relation to the total household income.

-sex offenders should be tortured in public. i'm pretty sure we'll have a lot less sex offenders.

-members of the media who report school shootings, clergy molestations, terrorist activities, and child abductions like they're the latest trend should be given the same punishment as the offenders.

-if you can't enjoy your life now then you never will in the future

-our 2 biggest setbacks:
1) comparing ourselves to others
2) assuming our past mistakes and hurts will always repeat themselves on future attempts.

-the majority of rap music sucks. what we have been experiencing in the last 8 or so years is "glam rap". the 80's saw it with heavy metal. grunge changed it for the better. prepare yourselves for a "grunge rap" period that will make the world ashamed of listening to puffy, jay-z, and master p.

-yoko ono is a piece of ****. john lennon ****ed over 300 groupies. there's no logical reasoning for getting ***** whipped over that ugly ***** after all the chicks he had. she's a witch. she casted a spell over him. he gets killed and she inherets hundreds of millions.

My life and philosophies are constantly being tested and undergoing metamorphosis. In the past 12 months alone I've undergone more pain, more change and evolved in ways I would never have known.

I don't know if I could sit down like Purity has and articulate them all but here's a few things I believe in.

- I believe in God. I believe in Jesus. I also believe in the Bible. I also do not believe that what the Church (any church) tells me about either three to be necessarily true and I hold to my own interpretation and my own beliefs on all three above theirs.

- I believe life is meant to be lived. It's about making mistakes and taking risks. It's about falling down and getting up again. It's about looking forward, not backwards.

- I also believe that relationships, like Tony said, is about growing together and building something lasting. I believe this applies to all relationships, just the context is different. Your friends, your family, your partner. Each are different, but each are individual ties we should be striving to improve and build upon all the time. Your partner in particular.

- I also believe we need to work on increasing our circle of friends, in relation to the previous point. We need to make friends of strangers and try to help people more. I also think that if people have a problem helping themselves, particularly the weak or the unfortunate, it's our job to help them - and not just pass the buck or trample them as we pass by.

- In conjunction to the previous two points, I believe life is about trying to not just better ourselves but do all in our power to help as many people around us as possible. Particularly those who are less fortunate, it's important that those who are in a better position lead by example.

Why is it when somebody steals 85 dollars on the tv show cops. The cops beat his ass down till he can't fight back anymore and he goes to the rape prison. But when some rich guy steal 85 million in inside trading he gets two years in jail and goes to the non-rape jail. That should be changed.

i guess where i'm coming from is that i've been dirt broke, homeless for 2 months, in trouble w/ the law, and had some pretty big drug problems. i swim in rock bottom and it DOES suck but i think that the more assistance you get from outsiders will make you more DEPENDENT on that assistance as well.
pretty soon you'll find yourself back at square one and this time BLAMING the very people/groups that have been trying to help you all along.
i just think that people need to be more independent and take charge of their own lives. only when you feel the pain and recover from it through your own efforts will you TRUELY learn a lesson in life and be able to move on for the better.

-rehabs are bull****. there's no logic in trying to make somebody quit drugs by sitting them in a bland room for hours with eachother and tell stories about the drugs they're trying to quit.
if they really wanted them to quit then they would be promoting how great life is WITHOUT the drug. they should be taking the patients to the beach, amusement parks, hiking, kayaking, etc.
instead they just set them up for relapse and misery.

-D.A.R.E. is a conspiracy set up by drug lords and government middlemen. it's designed to introduce kids to drugs. the first time i heard of it was in 6th grade. they explained to us every single type of drug out there and what the effect is once you're high.
