Ok - I'm trying to come up with a list....

apart from sorting out financials on this end, sending off thank you letters for wedding presents for the gifts aussie friends and family gave us... I can't think of much else??

I gotta send some **** to Shara that I really don't want to pack because it's a proper pain.

I got the basic **** of saying goodbye taken care of... I got a list here and I'm having probs filling it out, wondering if I've got it taken care of.

Most important things to pack are things you can't do without:
- passport
- wallet
- banking information
- greencard
- visum
- Address book (with phonenumbers and addresses from back home)

If you got all those important things taken care of you should just make a list of what you wanna bring. If you are back in LA and found out you forgot something you can always ask your parents or friends to mail it to you. And besides, I figure you already got loads of stuff in LA right?

I got about a 1/3 of my possessions there, and maybe 2/3 of all my clothes... got a fair amount to pack really. I mean, it's not easy packing to move to an entire country man...

Got the essentials items ready.... just gotta work out what else. It's not like I'm gonna be able to come back in a hurry if I forget something thats all...

I suggest Jake, that you do a major clean out of your stuff. Have a serious look at all the stuff you have and be ****en brutal as to what you REALLY need to keep and what you could do without.

Well that's just it... unlike most ppl I rarely blew money on a TV, VCR, etc. I had a computer, a lot of games and a lot of books. That's about 99% of all my possessions.

1/3 of my books are in LA. The rest all here....
I will get brutal I guess.... thanks for reminding me on this point. I think in my head I was going to take 99% of it when the truth is that is prolly not possible...

Precisely...when I moved from townsville to Toowoomba, a 14 hour drive, I culled over half of my clothes, books, video tapes etc and could fit everything in my old commodore and had room to sleep in it at halfway!
