There was only 1 movie wit no sequels that I know of, but the monster in The Relic was ill as shit. When I was a kid I thought the graboids in Tremors were cool. And the 1st Predator is my favorite movie, although that comes off more as action than horror genre wise. Derranged 12-29-2008, 10:59 PM Not a horror fan, though I did find House of 1000 Corpes and the Devil's Rejects amusing. Clegg 12-29-2008, 11:55 PM Too many horrors are about making you jump with loud noises or whatever. I prefer the films that can create tension and make you think "oh shit" for a while rather than just for 1 second. The Fly is a great film. I saw that when I was about 8 and I was scared, even now it is kinda creepy. Too old to be scared my horrors now but I still like them as long as they are original and not the same old thing over and over. Anybody seen it? Derranged 12-30-2008, 09:20 AM Oh yea how can I forget Shaun of the Dead! Although that was more of a comedy. Clegg 12-30-2008, 01:54 PM How about High Tension .. Anybody seen it? I thought it was pretty good. 7/10 or so, maybe 8/10. Grand Champ 12-30-2008, 02:59 PM I thought it was pretty good. 7/10 or so, maybe 8/10. I liked the ending that it turned out she was a total nut and hunts her victim down with that electric saw in the end..! What's spooky is that such crazy-people exist Clegg 12-30-2008, 03:33 PM Yeah, the twist was good, didn't see it coming. I liked it when she was touching herself up as well. |
