View Full Version : The Death of Corporate America.
The Mouse 05-05-2003, 01:05 PM Okay, it’s not physically realistic.. corporations need to grow and strive on our economy in order to create a stable democracy. Blah blah blah, but what do you do at night to get away from all of it? Drink, heroine, crack, smoke, coffee, read, sleep, cut or burn yourself, sex? See you can’t escape it, it’s life.. but we all need to relax and detoxify ourselves from the everyday meaningless bull**** cycle we all have to live in. So what do you do?

Kempo Chris 05-05-2003, 01:32 PM I fight
Purity 05-05-2003, 02:14 PM i drink. i don't really think it's an escape though.
even though i get pissed off about the majority of my day-to-day routines, i am starting to calm down a lot more recently. i DO in fact enjoy what i do. so rather than let it drive me insane, i'm starting to grow more mature and take it a lot more easy.
what that does is allow me to be more relaxed and kick-back in front of clients, co-workers, and vendors. they, in turn, act the same way towards me and we're able to accomplish a lot more in that manner.
my advice is to take a look at what you do and either
1. recognize that you're happy with your life and make the best of it or
2. recognize that your job/career sucks and make the needed changes. in the meantime, you should STILL be happy because as long as you're doing what has to be done, then it's gonna be all good. allow your hope to fuel your happiness
whether you drink, smoke, ****, excericise, or whatever; don't do it to escape but rather to ENHANCE.
now if you'll excuse me, i'm gonna go yell at an underwriter :)

Plan to blow it all up.
Naw seriously, it's not just Corporate America now. It's not just about any one country. It's all one big NWO and it's not longer governments running countries. Corporations do it already. The government just saves them the hassles of administration over the land and people that populate it.
Globalisation has a lot of good points in terms of benefiting the people (capitalism in theory is good) but I dunno, every time I've encountered it rearing it's head, it's meant job cuts, no room for promotion and it's meant I've had to leave a company in order to get ahead.
