As far out there as it may sound, it is apprently a real possiblty that they will meat eachother some time next year. Mannys trainer has said that Golden Boy promotions have contacted them with the offer of fighting Hatton if manny can beat Juan Manuel Marquez. Obviuolsy if he does beat him he will have no one else to fight at Jnr Light weight, and has said that he may go staright up in order to fight hatton before he reitres which could be as early as next January.

Can you imagine this fight, who would win The Hitman or the Pacman, both excting, hard hitting, nerver say die boxers, who would go in for a total toe to toe battle. they are similar in height also, which would be a lot mroe fair, than when ricky fought floyd.

I would fancy a Hatton KO, but it would be one heck of a fight, but Hattons next fight is likely to be against either Junior Witter from England at the MEN arena or against PAUL MALIGNAGGI at madison square garden. Who knows that might be his plans for next year to fight them two, then let Manny move up to light weight, before coming up to light welter to fight him and finish his career off in Las Vegas in another super fight.

Hatton is not a middle weight he is a light welterweight, or as you put it in American - Junior welter, not middle.

I have heard some people on the BBC website where i also put this stroy, that they are saying the weight difference is too great to make this happen.

Yes it is big, but if both fighters wanted they could meet half way couldn't they. Also if Trinidad can go from a welterweight to fight roy jones at Heavy - is it heavy, either way a heavy weight fighter. if i said this a few years back people would have laughed their heads off, so it can happen.

yer lol usually i would be completely against this kind of stuff. but in all honesty i would love to see it. hatton and pacqauio are absolute warriors and only know 1 way to fight. hatton would destroy him at 140 though. absolutely no doubt about it. it would be entertaining for the 5 or 6 rounds it lasted, untill hatton KO's him with a wicked body shot

This is dumb, wait atually, packy just needs to eat couple steaks and hatton needs to stop his mash, pies n ****, fight might happen next year..who knows...if leonard could go from light welter to light heavy champ, anything can happen.
