yo guys i am looking to join a gym and get serious with boxing. I am 19 years old and live in Philly where there are a lot of good gyms. I am in good physical condition but not near boxing shape. I have a few questions wondering if you guys could answer. Is 19 too old to start getting serious with boxing? And if i were to start now getting in good shape how long will it take till you are able to fight in the amatuers?

no its not too late to start, and it depends how good u r and where u stand before getting a fight. some guys take 2 months, some guys take 2 years.

I no how ya feel man mines getting closed down, well were moving. To a better gym and apparently getting a whole new load of gear like treadmills, rowing machines etc. And theres a gym next door that he said you can use for free when ya finished training. :D it sounds awesome.

Is your gym just closing and kicking everyone out or moving somewhere else?
