View Full Version : Dwight Davidson vs Frank Fletcher Dynamite76 12-11-2007, 10:56 AM In a middleweight battle over 12 rounds, who wins? Terry A 12-11-2007, 02:12 PM For the record Dynamite, I've checked over their respective records. Here's something to think about... Frank Fletcher was knocked out 3 times in his 18-6-1 (12KO) record. His best wins were over Caveman Lee, Sammy NeSmith, Ernie Singletary, Tony Braxton, Clint Jackson & James "Hardrock" Green. Dwight Davison was never stopped in 53 pro fights. His record was 44-8-1 (34KO) His best wins were over Murray Sutherland, Willie Monroe, Ray Seales, Curtis Parker, Wilford Scypion, Lindell Holmes and Irwin Hines. What I saw was that 3 of Fletcher's best wins were over guys who really made names for themselves as Jr Middleweights (Braxton, Jackson & Green) and who beefed up to fight at middleweight. Also, I don't think that Davison hit hard enough to stop Fletcher. I would pick Davison W12 or by late TKO from swelling and / or cuts. Of the two, I would much rather watch Frank Fletcher though because of his aggressive style. vBulletin® v3.7.1, Copyright ©2000-2008, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
