Very gifted fighter. For his weight, massive power-similar to Prince Naz, he has disproportionate hitting power for his size. By the time he peaks, LW will be thinning out as it stands, he will go far.

I have to say with his height, speed and un doubted power he has the potenital in my eyes to become a four or five weight world champion. I mean he could win the world at light, eventually moe up to Light welter, then welter, light middle, middle, pehrahs even super middle weight. I mean if Tyson can fight at heavy weight being 5"11, then Khan can fight at super middle.

time will tell, doing everything right at the min, but hope Wank Warren does'nt do the calzaghe root to the top (hang on to the WBO and fight a list on nobodies for 8 years).
Hamed come unstuck when he tried to fight a the top level underpining his poor abilities.
I hope Khan gets beat but the returns as a more humble champ and spanks the yanks

Khan does have some very good natural abilities that seem to be developing by the fight, but his chin is very suspect and in his fights so far we haven't seen him being taken to that part of the fight where nothing is working for him and the other fighter is not allowing him to have free will over the fight...

He is a good prospect with a great looking future... but only time will tell if he can cut it up with someone who as the same skill set as him.

But for the next few years he will be frank warrens cash cow, but i have a funny feeling his family will try and take over his management and only then we will know how good he is...

That's just making Naseem Hamed comparisons. I can't see Khan's family taking over such a fragile career. He's only boxed 15 times, Hamed had been world champ for years before his brothers stuck their oars in. I can't see it happening to Khan.

I don't think Khan has what everyone says he has. He's fought easy scraps so far (which is fair enough at this point in his career), but he was badly exposed against Willy Limond. Imagine what Juan Diaz would do to Khan in half a dozen fights time...man, fireworks.

i think hes an exciting fighter who could go a long way. Yes his chin doesnt look brilliant and neither does his defense but he has fast hands, good power (his first few fights he was just flurrying and the refs were jumping in look at what hes doing to decent fighters now - hes really hurt both Limond and Earl). Hes not on the level he thinks he is just yet but if he keeps stepping up and his last 2 fights have been meaningful step ups he could do well. If Gavin Rees can get an alphabet title theres no reason someone with more power and a good offense cant

Khan is a dominant fighter. Sometimes he underestimate other fighters that's why he will not boost his defense.

I still have doubts about Khan BUT then I remember he is only 21 yrs old.
The kid is still learning his trade for fux sake.
I don't like the guy as a person because I am not a fan of Flashy Braggarts to be honest.
The way he dealt with Graham Earl was quite something.
Khan has the power to hurt and beat anyone right now at Lightweight.
Question is , is there a decent enough current fighter who is able to deal with that power and land hard enough themselves?
If Khan keeps improving with age , then by the time he hits 25 he will be a ****ing MONSTER with that power and Speed.

yep he certainly has power, and if he isn't pushed all too quick, which under warren he wont be. Fighting for a belt seem's a possibility in the future.

The defensive work will tighten with time, his chin has to have a proper test though.

Alas he's a ****y little bastard, not on hameds scale, but it does put you off.

his chin sucks his offense is good, someone is going to break this kid sooner or later. If Khan takes on someone that has a longer reach advantage and who is a good boxer, he will have huge problems then.

Unlocking other people's defense is not going to be a problem for Khan. He's already fought and peppered some good fighters who had solid trademark defenses. His problem is going to be improving his own.

to be a real champion you either need superhuman reflexes, speed and power (like RJJ used to)

or a decent chin, speed and power (like Calzaghe or Kessler)

Khan has neither of these combinations.

As soon as he fights someone who has power and has a chin or great reflexes, he will get beaten.

What are you talking about?

Khan has got loads of power, he is very quick and has very good reflexes.

He is a very big Lightweight

You think Khan has great reflexes?

Compare his "reflexes" to Roy Jones, or early Naseem Hamed, those are great reflexes.

Do you think someone like Limond would have landed on Hamed or RJJ

come on now.
