It seems that the majority of Hatton fans and I said the majority, there is a minority of Hatton Fans taking the loss on the chin and I respect that, but they are few and far between.

So in the morning of Ricky Hatton's first defeat, the UK government will be setting up RELEIF/CALL CENTERS for fans who are unable to deal with the loss. There have been many cases of depression since sunday and suicide attempts have increased by 35%.

Billy Graham has tried to take his own life by jumping of a LAS VEGAS hotel in his fat suit, but was stopped by security. He too is one of the first to receive treatment for depression.

We can only hope they recover from the loss. The Call Center service will only available in the UK. But there will be a mobile unit set up on Bondi Beach and at near by backpacker hostels to help those in need.

Is this for real? It hasn't completely dented his legacy but now there's a loss on it and Floyd is still undefeated. That's the difference! Floyd did the same thing to Hatton like Hatton did to Kostya so the karma train caught up with Ricky! This would be like rubbing even more salt into the wound after England's failure to qualify for Euro 2008. No wonder depression's skyrocketed over there!

Will affect his legacy somewhat. I think Floyd dominated the entire fight. If you look at the supposed Hatton punch that rocked Floyd in the 1st in slow motion, you will find it was more of a push and Floyd just lost his footing, kind of tripped.

I think it just means Floyd is an awesome fighter. And Hatton, well his still awesome but just not as good as Floyd.

Floyd was great but i had Hatton 3-2 up after 5 and so did a lot of people so I would not say he dominated the entire fight.
Floyds game plan was absolutely spot on though, he out thought ricky unfortunately

I'm willing to take the joke. haha.

Oh well. I am depressed... i will admit it.

A combination of a heavy hangover and drowsyness has followed me all week as with alot of other fellas in England. Many, many people stayed up and drank until 7 or 8am on saturday night just to watch Rick.

Sadly.. he didn't win. But i knew it was a tall order anyway. Many didn't however... quite a few lay fans, who don't understand boxing properly thought Hatton could just plough through PBF - who on saturday, was magnificent.

As for the depression call centres, there for girls aren't they? when boy bands split up! haha - i hope your not trying to make out were a bunch of teeny boppers.

in the place where i watched the fight, the whole place erupted with applause at the end of the fight for Ricky - after the knockout. I've never seen a bar actually applaud a tv screen before, but they did, and i did. People weren't dissapointed in Ricky, just in what might have been. Everyone was pleased at how well Hatton had boxed -AND at how he did take those first few rounds.

There is no crisis centre though - at the end of the fight, everyone on the way out decided to start arguing...throwing punches and generally appease there unhappiness by having a punch up which rolled out into the street. I'll be honest - it started with my friend shouting a racist remark about PBF. To which the gang of black guys in the corner took offence too. (Silly eh?!) haha.

Oh well... atleast Rick will fight again. He's made that clear to the fans in the press this week.

As for the footballers....screw them. They never give it there all, thats why we get upset with them so much. They never seem to care or give as much of a damn as we do.

remember the press conferences in the Hatton/PBF build up? "are you prepared to die for this?" <-- PBF quote.

Well, what you reckon now Floyd? Cos i think Hatton layed everything down on the line last saturday. No man could have asked for more from him, and i admire that, so, so much.

You take a great punch Mickey B. You've gotta hell of a chin.

Hatton went all out, not like the Golden BOy.

I gave Hatton the first 2 rounds. And that was being generous.

Don't think because I'm from the UK I was supporting Hatton.

I gave him rounds 2 & 5
Yes he pressured floyd but the name of the game is to land punches and he just wasn't able to often enough. Nobody can say he didn't give it his all though, he just came up short to a brilliant boxer.
