BOOZED-up boxing fans flying to America to support Ricky Hatton were warned they could be arrested for their behaviour after a rumpus on a trans-Atlantic jet.
The pilot of an American Airlines jet and staff repeatedly warned swearing, aggressive Brits to calm down.

Stewardesses stopped serving alcohol to the party and warned the flight could be re-routed and the guilty parties detained.

But the jeering mob simply drank their duty free instead – and one innocent Finnish businessman was vomited on twice as the rowdy passengers continued partying.

When the plane landed for refuelling at Chicago, most of the 25-strong party were allowed to continue on their journey west. But the drink-fuelled antics disgusted organiser and boxing trainer Glyn Rhodes so much he promptly caught the next flight home.

What do you think? Post your comments below.

The 48-year-old boss of Hillsborough-based Sheffield Boxing Centre said he'd rather waste the £350 he'd spent getting there than be associated with some of the trouble-causers in his own group.

The retired professional boxer, a friend of Hatton's, was back home in Stannington this afternoon, planning to watch the Hatton v Floyd Mayweather contest on TV.

Father-of-three Rhodes said: "It was like football-hooligan mentality – it absolutely disgusted me.

"It was our trip, but there were people on it I didn't know. There were others I certainly did – they are sportsmen and they acted appallingly. They were too drunk to listen to warnings about the 'federal offence' they were committing.

"How many times have you seen a pilot leave the cockpit to warn passengers about their behaviour?

"It was completely out of order and they are lucky they didn't get arrested. One guy was turned away from the second flight. He and his mates heaped shame on British travellers."

hahahaha. ING-ER-LAND! ING-ER-LAND! INGERLANDS!!!
